The food is good and a nice environment and the staff is friendly. I would be back if it was closer.

I am giving this place 3 stars, but 3 stars is generous. I am going to say my mother brought me here about 30 years ago. Anytime we headed east on I-90, we were typically headed to Yakima to vegetable shop. On this day, I thought it was no different and when we pulled off the freeway and headed here, I was shocked. That said, it was a memorable meal that we repeated a couple times and when I started to drive I made the journey here a couple time myself on dates. I'm going to say it's been 15 years since I've been here, but after my first choice in the area was closed, I decided to see if this place still existed. The place isn't that big and despite two people working the floor, they struggled to keep up. It was about 5 minutes to be greeted despite them seeing up and another 2-3 minutes after being greeted to be sat. My first call out is pricing. Prices here were low, so low I thought I had an odd menu, but when the food came, I could see why, the portion was far smaller than expected, but completely in line for what was being charged. Ironically, I discovered the Maple Valley location and the food was really good, but I didn't put 2 and 2 together that it was the same chain, that said, after a couple questionable if not bad meals there, I stopped going. Lack of consistency in both portion and flavor. Portion I can deal with, I just ask for more, but when a dish doesn't take like it used to that is a bad situation. I had the carne asada. It didn't look or taste like what I'm used to. It wasn't horrible, but it wasn't good either. It lacked flavor and tasted more like roast than steak. Chips and salsa were tasty, but neither got refilled as they charge for that. Still hungry, I spiked my plate with a ground beef taco. Unfortunately, it tasted more like tomato paste than ground beef, the texture was odd and it wasn't even hot.For a place I would have considered to be a solid 9, it was tough seeing the fall to this level. It was honestly closer to a single star experience, but since it cost less than fast food, I bumped them up to 3 stars. My suggestion is remember who you are and where you come from. Nobody in Mexico is serving food that taste like this. If you are going to serve a smaller portion, I'm good with that, just make sure what you serve makes Mexico proud. That was hands down the saddest Mexican meal I'd had in a while.

Solid 4 stars! The portions were huge, food has great flavor and we left full and happy. We had lunch fajitas and the macho burrito, the beans had impressive flavor. We came after a hike and we were pleasantly surprised. Will come back if we are in the area.

Came here after doing Snow Lake hike nearby and was ravenous! I usually get the Chicken Macho burrito, but got the Chicken Enchilada this time! Food was huge, good, and we had super friendly service per usual!! Love the complementary chips & salsa here as well.

There was hardly any customers there at 4:00pm. It took forever for the waiter to ask for our drink order. Then it took forever for him to take our food order. My ground beef & refried bean tostada had no meat & beans on it, just some sauce. I had to flag down a different waiter to ask for meat & beans. My spouses tostada had hardly any lettuce on his. They never asked if we wanted another drink or water or anything! The service sucked!!!!

Food was better than their "competitor" closer to the freeway. Food was delicious too. Service was very friendly and attentive even in a busy environment. Only complaint was it's a little dark where we sat and margaritas did not taste like they had tequila in them, just tasted like the mix. Otherwise will be back!

Service is great but their food is not the best. Good rice and beans but chicken tastes like it's microwaved.

It's not really awful, but it definitely is NOT good. Not just this shop, the whole El Caporal chain, has really bland, uninteresting food. You'll be fed and it won't make you sick, but there is no reason to ever go back.

Very tasty steak fajitas! Service was excellent, attentive. Nice decor with lots of seating.
