El Caporal Mexican Restaurant

Sorry. Not a five star restaurant. Old tasteless guacamole. Chicken not super fresh. Loved the salsa And great friendly service. Flour tortillas yummy and warm. Chips warm and pretty good.

Honestly a pretty mediocre experience. I came with a big group and we were seated quite quickly, which was one of the nice parts. I ordered a beef taco and side salad since I didn't want a full meal. The beef taco was fine, actually pretty good for what it was. However, I was super disappointed by the salad. It was $5 and literally just a pile of of lettuce with some tomatoes, nothing else. If I had known that was what it was, I definitely would not have gotten it. Nonetheless, the interior is quite nice and they were friendly. I just probably would not come back.

Apparently I had a different experience than most other reviewers. Service was slow. 2 tables who got there after us were served before and tended to more. I couldn't even call my drink a margarita... extremely sweet and I'm convinced there was no tequila. Costco pre-mix is better than their Cadillac margarita. I had steak and shrimp which was good but portions are small. Based on the other reviews I was expecting a better experience. I can appreciate the family aspect of the business but I was left disappointed and will not be returning or recommending.

Very good mexican food, I had the enchilada and I loved it. The chicken was very flavorful and service was great.

Stopped here after a long day and was so happy to find an authentic Mexican restaurant. The chips and salsa were so good, can't beat warm tortilla chips. Had a prickly pear margarita, which was extremely refreshing; not too sweet. The chili verde was delicious. I wanted to eat the whole plate but there was too much food! I definitely recommend this place.

Good food good price good service! That's what matters, people are friendly and efficient. The interior is pleasantly Hispanic. I will go back frequently

Very friendly service and quick too. Our booth was clean and well equipped.I got vegetarian enchilada Suiza. And they put a spinach and fajita veg mix inside, broiled cheese on top of this and the beans. So good! I'm not a big fan of the rice, although my family likes it.I'm going back to try the chicken tortilla soup!

We were staying at a place in Fall City for the night, and the weather moved in with a pretty snowy mess over the area. Calling around to a number of the local eateries, we found that most weren't open in that weather.Calling El Caporal, a friendly voice informed us they too would be closing a bit early, but were happy to wait for us to join them first. Naturally, we hurried on down.What a fantastic experience; the staff treated us like valued guests, and made some great recommendations from the kitchen. I decided on the Pollo Asado; my partner ordered the Fajita Burrito. Both were delicious, and were very generous portions, as well!The place was very warm & inviting, and very festively decorated. For us, there was plenty of parking on an evening like this, but even on a busy night, there is still plenty of spaces available. We'll definitely stop in on our next trip through!

Excellent service. Chips and salsa are addicting and so delicious! Tamales are very good with great rice and beans as well.

Sadly mediocre meal a couple weeks ago.New to town and was hoping for a reliable Mexican food place. Will probably try once more just in case. But if it's not meaningfully better, doubt I'll return.
