After getting an oil change down the street I was looking for a quick place to grab a bite. I got 5 tacos--3 beef, 1 chicken, and 1 pork. The carnitas tacos were exceptional, possibly the best I've enjoyed outside of Mexico, but every single one was delicious.

After living in Miami for over 20 years this place reminds me of many restaurants that you can get a lot of food homemade at a great price. Washington doesn't have that same level of food culture that you'll find some other places like South Florida, Chicago, New York. I really appreciate it this place. The only other option is going to get burgers or greasy Asian food that's just going bloat your stomach.

Pleasant and wonderful restaurant easily five stars maybe six! This is my first visit and walking in to a very pleasant calm atmosphere that is a blend of restaurant and casual takeout the architecture has skylights fun cactus paintings and more very pleasant cute decorations the customer service was pleasant friendly and welcoming the menu is clear and organized with a variety of presentation options lots of tables and comfortable booths to choose from past all that most certainly down to business these might just be some of the best tacos I have ever had exceptional and excellent outstanding! After just the first severalbites this is my new favorite place and I would most certainly highly recommend five stars leaning towards six! PS don't let the parking lot that shares with the driving school and rare coins detour you from parking there's lots of parking around the side and back. Places like this are why I Yelp to help celebrate excellent local places that are trying really hard and going the extra mile! Planning on telling lots of friends about this place very impressed! We dined in for dinner and it was a great night out. Parking lot is a bit small, but manageable to find a spot at night time when the other businesses in the plaza are closed. We ordered quesobirria tacos, mulitas, tripas tacos, and a torta with cabeza. I really enjoyed the tripas tacos! Definitely our go to spot for tripas now. I thought the torta was good, could have been better - the bread was a tad dry. Good condiments at their salsa bar next to the register. The cashier was nice and the restaurant was nice and tidy. We'll definitely be back for the tripas tacos.

I'd read the reviews before going. Seeing that it was formally a food truck that had turned into a brick and mortar store, I was optimistic. The SoCal girlie in me struggles and to make it worse, I got this just after I had recovered from covid.I got the taco plate to go because I didn't feel right to eat outside quite yet. It was a good portion size and they had salsas that you could take to go. I would say the tacos are a tad oily/messy. It didn't blow me out of the water but everything felt fairly solid all things considered. I'll likely try again to try something else as I've come to realize, I'm probably just not thatttt big of a taco person. I have a SoCal fries and burritos preference so a bit hard to satisfy me in that sense. The parking here was decent although most of it for the restaurant is at the back of the building.

I'm always looking for an authentic Mexican eatery. Someone recommended this place to me and I'm so glad I got to try it out. Huge portions, delicious food and very reasonable prices. They had a salad bar to add extras to your dish. Decor was amazing as well! Will come back soon.
