El Burrito Mexicano

I LOVE this place. I have passed by El Burito so many times and never went in. Well, Im glad I did. I was running errands and decided to get off the Addison redline stop. This place is small, quaint and quiet. The gentlmen behind the counter were so nice and friendly. It was very clean and organized. I placed my order and sat at my table. I was so surprised to have the cook bring me chips and salsa ,at not charge.I ordered Beef Nachos. The nachos were so DELICIOUS. So cheesy, full of beef and lots of chips. Not greasy at all. The menu was HUGE and has something for everyone!PROS:Food was greatLarge menuCleanStaff was so friendlyGreat PricesNot greasyCONS:I wanted more, but to full.

Right by Wrigley; stopped in for a quick bite before the game. Service was prompt and fast. Ordered the steak burrito and it was ok....hits lacked a good seasoning flavor. Not much cheese or beans in the burrito. My order did come with complimentary chips and (3) types of salsas. Those were all real good. Place is clean....and a nice little cute place.

How the heck does this place have such a high score...The food is beyond mid. I'm being nice by giving 2 stars and that's for all the ingredients being so fresh.Let's go down the list of all the mediocre things I purchased here.1. Chicken Burrito...dry and flavorless...Taco Bell could make a better Burrito...Half was eaten and the other half into the trash can it goes.2. Skirt steak dinner for a little over 20 bucks...Meat was greasy and gross with weird texture and this is a dish i adore...Meat was thinner than beef jerky just not as good as beef jerky and once again flavorless except for the taste of grease...The only saving grace was fresh avocado and lettuce and spanish rice wasn't half bad.3. El pastor tacos...dry and pretty much flavorless pork...I needed a glass a water to get this down my throat...if it wasnt for the taste of cilantro and onion this would be dead on arrival. I will say the look of the taco makes you think it will be amazing until you take a bite...lolOverall I won't be back...Maybe I caught this place on a bad day or something or judging from the crowd if you are coming in from all the many bars around being drunk is probably the best way to enjoy this food.You've been warned.

Super tender carne asada - not charred but good seasoned flavor. Salsa roha was great, salsa verde was fine, good pico. Chips come with everything and the salsa's. Good filling food thats pretty affordable right by Wrigley

Nice quick lunch before the cubs game! A group of 7 of us came by for a quick lunch! This place was great! My wife and I shared the 3 tacos dinner with 2 chicken and 1 Al pastor with rice and beans! If you dine in you also get free chips and salad! The chips were just ok nothing impressive! The salsa was pretty good! The mild is the best! The rice and beans were excellent! The tacos were all authentic, fresh and delicious! We definitely recommend this joint for a quick lunch before any cubs game!

When I entered the restaurant the instant aura I got from it were of high quality. I was greeted by friendly staff who helped me get my food fast. The tacos were amazing! Good flavor with a great green salsa. The quesadilla was a bit bland for my taste but overall not bad.

I ordered the burrito de lengua and a taco al pastor. Both were amazing. The staff was friendly and the service was quick. This is right by a cta redline stop, a very good location. Try it if you are ever in the area in Chicago!

Nice to have legit tacos in Wrigleyville. Highly recommended. One of my favorite spots for a taco dinner.

From Colorado... stopped before a Cubs game. If you don't hit this spot up before a game, you're missing out! Quality.

Ordered food. Food arrived. Food was tasty. Forgot my bottle of water which I payed for. Then they charged a special non-adjustment tax for using my debitcard. Businesses are required to post signage at the entrance and near the POS terminals that explain the program. This was not posted anywhere. Wish they'd reach out to me.
