El Bagel

I used to occasionally go to original El Bagel location on Division. This morning wanted a quick bite while I put in some weekend hours. To my surprise the old El Bagel was closed. At the end of the block I see a line outside of Jack's Bistro. Turns out El Bagel now served from Jack's (Division and Le Monye). Bagel was good. Smaller than before and cream cheese was of different quality than before. I never had veggie cream cheese with green beans. Welp!!! All-in-all pretty good bagel experience. Line was long and took about 8 minutes to get my bagel after ordering. I applaud Jake's for trying to keep El Bagel going in the community. El Bagel was good for Division and dog owners. Appears Jake's is keeping the dog friendly patio.

First time there and they got my order wrong. I asked for no cheese and got cheese. I had to throw away half of my sandwich. Friendly employees and quick service

Great breakfast bagels! Actually use fresh eggs, quick and reasonably priced. Great option for a quick breakfast bagel and coffee!
