Great food and service is quick and efficient and ambiance is fun food was pretty good the food taste authentic. Service was quick and ambiance was fun.

If you love ceviche & spicy food go to El Aguaje in Madison and order the AguaChilis. Its basically shrimp ceviche with a serano pepper lime base, tiny sliced red onions, fresh sliced cucumbers, avocado, and crackers. Their fajitas are also amazing and everything was seared and perfectly seasoned. Homemade corn tortillas, the list goes in and on. Seriously, the aguachilies might be one the best dishes I've had in Nashville.

I have not frequented Madison very much and I stumbled upon this Mexican restaurant completely by accident. I usually don't write reviews unless I have been to a place a few times or unless I was totally in love or totally hated the place. I'm making an exception for here because it needs to be on the Yelp board. It is very well loved on Google reviews, but some Yelp love is definitely owed. Food is good. I really enjoyed the ceviche and the chips and salsa. My $2.50 margaritas were delicious. I had 4 of them, but I will be honest they were not that strong. They're strong enough for $2.50 though! I really think the thing that carried this meal was honestly the seafood. It would appear other customers were ordering a lot of seafood as well. It is a weird observation I made.Customer service was good. The lady was nice and though her English was minimal, we worked together to make it through. 4 years of high school Spanish didn't really do me a bit of good, but I did try!

Food was average, portions ok, but service wasn't good. Server was more interested in rolling silverware. Our appetizer came out WITH our food; cold - it had obviously been sitting on the line for a while. My order came out wrong but was promptly fixed. Ambiance was weird - very bright lighting. With all the other Mexican options in the area we probably won't go back.

I would add ten more stars if I could, truly the best Mexican restaurant I've EVER experienced! Everything is first class, great quality, and good prices! Have been seven or eight times and everything has been excellent every time. The queso and chips are so good I have gone in several times simply to get some to go. What inspired this today is because I ordered coffee (I drink it black); it was the best coffee I've ever had in my life! All I can think was, "man, every single thing here is beyond fantastic!" I can't sing its praises enough.
