OMG, this is a long overdue review of some of the best sushi I've experienced in ATL. Please run , don't walk for your next sushi fix. I cannot explain how happy I was to visit last month for my birthday. It's in the city so parking can be tricky. Reservations strongly encouraged too. It's clean and unpretentious inside. I need you to start with the tuna crisp. It literally, melts in your mouth and it's gone before you can blink. Orange is the new black was an another hit dish. The burlesque roll is spicy with jalapeño on top. I love a spicy roll but this isn't shy at all. I couldn't get enough but it wakes you up quickly. The Island roll is what hubby ordered. He devoured it in 5 minutes almost. it was simply beautiful. The absolute star was their limited pork ramen. I see what all the hype is about. The flavors were outstanding and I enjoyed it even in this boiling summer season. We tried a variety of sake that was a good balance to the food we consumed. After eight is the secret lounge next door. Our bartender was the best in the city. They have an expansive menu of carefully curated drinks. I cannot stress this place enough.

I can't believe I've never written a review on eight sushi. I love the food here I have been here several times never been disappointed and to be quite honest. It's one of the few places where you don't need to dip the sushi in soy sauce you can eat the sushi the way it's intended to be eating and just really taste all of the ingredients. The service is always great as to be expected, and they actually recommend not dipping in soy sauce I like spicy so even though I may not dip into soy sauce, I do put a little bit of wasabi as I'm eating my rolls & my sashimi, just cause I like spicy. Ambiance is ok, it's a bit cramped inside.

Rating: (1/5)We recently dined at Eight Sushi Lounge for a special celebration with a group of 12, and unfortunately, our experience was far from what we expected. We've been regulars at this restaurant, but this visit has left such a bad taste that we won't be returning.Food: (4/5)The food was as good as we remembered, with quality dishes that met our expectations. However, this was overshadowed by the poor service and other issues we encountered.Service: (1/5)The service was shockingly disappointing. We ordered cocktails, appetizers, many main entrees and a couple of bottles of our favorite sake, Amabuki Daiginjo. We wanted to use sake dispensers at each end of the table to make the evening more special. However, we were told that in order to get the dispensers, we needed to spend a minimum of $100 on each bottle. We requested an exception from the manager, given the amount we were spending, but were flatly turned down. We then attempted to order a more expensive bottle, Hakkaisan, only to be told it wasn't available, forcing us to settle for an even pricier option at $140 each.Considering our final bill was close to $3,000, with nearly $500 in tips, this treatment felt unnecessarily rigid and unaccommodating. We spent a significant amount on food and drinks, including 24 shots of Hennessy VSOP costing $528, cocktails, sake, and yet, we were still treated with a lack of flexibility and care.Atmosphere: (4/5)The atmosphere of the restaurant is generally appealing, with a chic and modern vibe. However, the experience was marred by other issues.Cleanliness: (1/5)The cleanliness of the restaurant, particularly the restrooms, was appalling. Upon entering, I found urine residue on the floor and paper towels scattered about. I hoped that the issue would be addressed later in the evening, but two hours later, the restroom was in the same disgusting state. It's clear that the restaurant lacks proper protocols for maintaining cleanliness, which is unacceptable at a place with their price point.Overall:We've had enjoyable experiences here in the past, but this visit has completely soured our perception of Eight Sushi Lounge. There are plenty of other restaurants in the area that offer better service, cleanliness, and overall value. This was our last visit, and we will be taking our celebrations elsewhere in the future.

The last time I came here was years ago and just decided to visit again. Omg, everything was so good. The otoro was so flavorful and thick!!!! The service was nice. It would be better to rsvp in advance, but luckily there were seats at the bar that were available. The chefs were super nice. It's a darky vibe, would be a nice place to bring ur friends or date or have a girls night.

A girlfriend and I dined at Eight Sushi on a Friday for dinner and definitely one of my new fave sushi spots. The ambiance is so nice and welcoming. It wasn't too loud or crowded. We sat at the high chairs where we could watch the sushi being made. The service was great. The food was amazing. We ordered so many things and they were all so good. We started with the tuna crisp, wagyu sando, and langostine. I had the explosion roll and my friend had a mix of different nigiri which she loved! Eight Sushi definitely did not disappoint. Will definitely be back!

I recently visited Eight Sushi Lounge and had an absolutely amazing experience! This place is hands down the best sushi restaurant I've been to in Atlanta. My friend ordered the Miso Sea Bass ($38.00), which was a deliciously miso-glazed Chilean sea bass served with seasonal vegetables and sweet chili paste on a bed of grilled rice. I opted for the Rice to Meet You ($65.00/12pcs), which included the chef's choice of Eight's signature nigiri (2pcs each). Both dishes were incredibly fresh and of the highest quality. The ambiance of the restaurant is dope, creating a perfect setting for an enjoyable meal. The service was impeccable, with our server being attentive and amazing, even though I can't remember their name. The staff truly added to the wonderful experience.Additionally, there's a secret addition to the restaurant that is super cool, making the visit even more unique and memorable. I highly recommend Eight Sushi Lounge to anyone looking for an excellent dining experience. I can't wait to go back!

10/10 I decided to go on a solo date and this was delicious. The lychee martini's are awesome and such a perfect pairing with the sushi. The Casanova roll, I could marry. It was delicious without leaving super full and just the touch I needed. The bartenders were super friendly and the service was awesome. The renovation is neat as well.

Arrived without a reservation and luckily got seated right away. Table for two. Everything we ordered tasted fantastic and the presentation impressive.

Celebrating an anniversary? Looking for an upscale dining experience to impress a date? Look no further. Fancy and fresh. We ordered a bunch of rolls, my favorites were the Red Samurai and the Hashtag (I don't usually like crab or tempura in my rolls!) Everything we ordered was fantastic. The Langoustine was a surprise, with its strong truffle flavor and creaminess - I'd recommend this for someone who maybe doesn't really like sushi. The cocktails and sake list looked amazing but I didn't want alcohol on this visit. There's always next time!Service was excellent. Glasses always full and the manager even swung by to apologize for an accidental light show. They don't validate parking.

Amazing experience. I mean the sushi rolls are divine... my favorite was the westside roll and the langoustine roll. The westside roll had this creamy sauce over the seared scallop and was absolutely packed with flavor. The langoustine roll did fall apart so I used my hands. I know should try with chopsticks.. but it was great I did not want my friends to even have one. We had a few other rolls that were ok just not my palette although my friends enjoyed it. Service was great and they had $10 rolls that day so we did go all out. We sat outside and it was pouring rain but they had a cover and fans so it didn't get hot. Only thing was parking you valet and you do pay. I don't think there is an option to just park yourself.
