I have been a long time eight Bells Customer!Since 2019 in fact!!!Let's chat wine first and read my long backstory afterwards! We love that they serve a Viognier, it's crisp and on the acidic side making it the perfect pairing with fish like halibut or cod!Old Salt is dangerously good! It is so smooth and the perfect one to pick up for anyone new to red wines. David's block is for those that cannot choose a rich red wine. It pairs perfectly for after dinner with dessert. I love it with a tiramisu because of the espresso and chocolate flavors. I love the Syrah, it's an 8 Clone Syrah. It's a very French style Syrah, making it medium bodied. It again is the perfect wine for someone coming into reds. 2019 Southern Voyage - a new one for me! It was in our case as members. It's a blend of 58% Grenache, 23% Mourvedre and 19% Syrah which is becoming a bottle WA blend. It's also becoming a new found favorite of mine! The reason I love Eightbells is that there is something g for everyone. Friends who like whites, friends new to red, or those who know what is up with wine; there's surprisingly new twists on traditional wines here. Making it the perfect place to go and all while being continently located in the city unlike other tasting rooms. ------------------------------------------------I met Taylor and Kip when we were all on our way back from Greece. Santorini is where we fell in love with Viognier, and it was the first time I think my husband found a wine he truly enjoyed eating with food. We had just gotten engaged on our trip and after having visiting them in the city, finding out they made a delicious vingior, we got back made them our official wine for our wedding! Kip did such a beautiful job on all 3 of the designs! We even chose a magnum of Syrah and had it as our guest book! The people truly make this place what it is and I love that Taylor, as of 202, is the CEO! Making it a second generation urban winery! When we went in the past summer, 2022, I had the pleasure of meeting Pete as well! He was truly a kind soul who knew his wine, but of course, he's a talented sommelier. I have to many bottles personally to count, but I love the fact that they have a glass top. Perfect for events to open a bottle to share and create memories with loved ones! Sincerely check them out if you're in the city! No need to trek all the way to Woodinville this place is perfect!

Your local winery that you've probably walked past without even knowing it was there! Eight bells winery is tucked away in the heart of the Roosevelt neighborhood, between two businesses. Walk down the alley to find the door. Came for a wine tasting and had so much fun learning about eight bells and it's history. The wine also tastes great. Open weekends 11-4pm!!

If you are in the north end ( Roosevelt) of Seattle and looking for wine , Eight Bells Winery is the place to be. It is a small neighborhood winery, producing small batch good wines! They had 5 or 6 wines in the line up . One white, the rest reds. I really enjoyed the blend, it shows a lot about the winemakers that can put together a delicious blend. I say give Eight Bells a shot , you will find something worthy to sip on. Drink local Drink Washington!

I love this winery! The owners are always around so you can feel the pride that goes in to the winemaking and the vibe is so warm and welcoming. I've been a member for the last 3 years and anytime I'm hosting a nice dinner I pull out a bottle of Eight Bells because I know it's sure to please!

Great wine and the ambiance and laid back feel of the winery is just as great. Decided to become a member because it's so easy. Just commit to either 6 or 12 bottles twice a year. We were doing the 6 option but realized we consumed much more than one bottle a month haha so upgraded to 12 twice a year. We bring our dog in here every time!

It's so great to have a stellar winery within walking distance, but they are definitely worth a drive if you don't live close. We've gotten to know the entire crew in the last couple years and they all bring positive energy to the enterprise. In addition to free tastings on the weekends they are always coming up with fun events to advance your wine knowledge and appreciation. Take advantage of!

Absolutely amazing winery with wonderful people. Not only are all their wines stellar (I get wine from there weekly and really don't drink anything else), but the people are stellar too. Knowledgable, thoughtful, kind, and fun. They put together so many great events and collaborate with a myriad of other local businesses. An absolute gem in this city.

Can't say enough of this gem! I really wanted some wine. And thought I'd stop by for a tasting. I was greeted by a great vibe and very nice welcome. There was a tasting going on when I got there but joined in. The kind man (I can't remember his name) was very knowledgeable! I bought a bottle of wine because it was so darn good! I was ready to pay for the tasting and the bottle and long and behold...the tasting was free! Tips:No parking available. Street parking only.Don't be a jerk! Buy a bottle

We've been members since the beginning and have recently tasted some verticals. You'll find, as we have that varietals of their wine is great tasting even after 10+ years. That's a great reason to buy a few bottles to drink now and a few bottles to let age. Go taste their wine, and don't leave empty handed.
