Eggs, Inc. is on the first floor of my obstetrician's office, and I hadn't heard of it before. When I've gone to an appointment I haven't stopped in but yesterday I had an appointment and headed to work after so decided to get something for lunch. The restaurant is large, and whenever I've passed by on the way to the doctor they've never been very busy. I ordered mine to go so I could get to work and it took about 10 minutes. They have an extensive menu, lunch and breakfast, and though I love an omelet I decided to go with the reuben of the classic variety (they have a turkey reuben as well, and I have to admit it was hard to decide between the two). The sandwich was really quite good. Unfortunately I totally forgot about the thousand island, which I found later in a bag that had the side of soup that comes with the sandwich. But even without the dressing it was excellent and I'd happily order it again. It's making me hungry for one right now, actually. The soup was less good. They had chicken noodle and split pea, so chicken noodle it is! But unfortunately the chicken noodle tasted like something that came out of a can, with pressed cubed chicken and all. It went in the trash after a couple bites but luckily the sandwich was huge and filling.

I was so pleasantly surprised by this unassuming spot. I always see it when I go to my doctor and thought it might be more like cafeteria food. So I finally had a chance to check it out and was very pleasantly surprised. It was full service and nice atmosphere. The coffee was good and I was really impressed with the pancakes! I enjoyed my meal and lol forward to stopping in the next time I'm in the area!

Service was great, responsive and prompt. Eggs were not over cooked like too many places do. Fruit was fresh and bacon was crispy. Pancakes were light and airy with a hint of vanilla. My son said they were the best waffles he has ever had.

I actually liked this bit of a hidden gem. Its a no frills breakfast diner spot. It seemed a little empty when I was there, but the food was excellent. I got the country fried chicken with eggs. Exactly what I wanted! The service was also top notch! She did an awesome job. I did find it a tad expensive, but I fully understand this is downtown dining. Also, the food was good so that softened the blow a bit! Of course I will be back! Its right by Northwestern so this will be my food spot!

Excellent breakfast food! Service was fast we got asked immediately if we needed help. It was very relaxed when we got there, a few people quietly eating at tables. We got it to go but It came out quickly and it was steaming hot, and all as described on the menu. I feel like they were pretty generous portion sizes, as well. A solid breakfast for about $40-50 for downtown Chicago, I would go here again for sure.

After my appointment, my husband and I decided to try out this place, since it was in the same building. It was not busy when we came in, so that's a plus. Anyways, our server was Karen and she was lovely! The menu is decent with many options. Husband got the fried chicken and eggs with orange juice, and I simply got eggs your way (two scrambled eggs with hash browns and toast). The food was good, so no complaints on that. The prices are ehh... I mean, $5.99 for orange juice? That's a bit much. Other than that, I would say give it a try.

Delicious skillets! I had the garden skillet which was very veggie...but really more cheese and potatoes than veggies. And...I'm not offended. I paid an upcharge to have the banana crunch pancakes. Next time I could probably do fine with just regular pancakes.Coffee was good.Service was fast and friendly. I came on a Thursday about 10:30 and there weren't many customers, again...fine by me! Drawback, of course, is that it's not easily accessible...it's inside a big medical/residential building on LSD so very little parking. However I got lucky and got a spot ($4.50/hour) Nice place to stop in if you've got time surrounding a doctor's appointment. I'd come back if I'm in the building again.
