Edgewater Restaurant offers a good dining experience with its nice views of the ocean, making it a great spot for enjoying a meal. The fish taco and burger were good, adding to the overall appeal of the restaurant. Also Service was acceptable Like many tourist spots, you might not expect a lot. It's not exceptional and wasn't particularly outstanding, but it was a solid experience overall. Despite this, I'll give them 4 stars for providing a decent meal and beautiful views.

Our party of 5 was seated outside overlooking the Bay. Service and over all experience was horrible. Our server failed 1) to place our calamari appetizer, I cancelled it when our food arrived 2) forgot a coke order3) forgot a wine order4) scallops were good but everything else on the plate was cold5) One of the hamburgers was ordered with smash avocado in it at $7.00 extra, and it didn't have any Avocado in it. They try to charged us.6) Waited a long long time to get our drinksThe only good thing is that they comp us the $36.00 scallops. For the amount we paid, and to have a bad experience it Wasn't worth it

First the good...the views, service, and my drink were amazing! The food we had was overly sauced. The salad was the beet and arugula and it was swimming in dressing. Then we had the poke nachos which were drenched in mayo sauce. My daughter had the seaweed salad off the top and pieces of the tuna, but the chips were dripping with the mayo sauce. I am usually a sauce girl, but this place went over board.

While in town and checking out Seaport Village, we decided to eat at Edgewater Grill. We had a view of the water from our table, which was lovely since the weather was perfect. We ordered oysters to start and they were tasty! My hubby even enjoyed them and they're not his favorite appetizer. So that was a win. My hubby got a salad with their fresh catch, which was halibut. I got the mushroom risotto with shrimp and I was so delicious!!! Our server was nice but we waited more than I'd like for check ins and refills/check. That's why we didn't get dessert, tbh. It wasn't super busy either but it was still a pleasant visit.

We wanted some seafood near the seaport village area, and came here for a patio dinner. The food was good overall, but the service was just average. Ambiance is like a beachy semi nice restaurant.- Sourdough (4.5/5): This bread was delicious, freshly baked, perfectly sour.- Calamari (3/5): Pretty salty, crispy, but did not taste very fresh.- She crab soup (4/5): This was pretty tasty, creamy, great flavors.- Poke nachos (4/5): Poke had good flavor, chips were wonton, fatty and delicious

The place is beautiful right there on the board walk overlooking the bay. Great ambience inside and out. Menu selection good a little pricey for lunch. Ordered calamari nice presentation the rings a little over done but still good. Margarita flatbread pizza, nice flavor, a little too much cheese and tomatoes store bought tasteless. Out door view made up for it all along with our great waitresses!

We visited here after taking a Seal tour wanting a sit-down place. 4 adults abs two kids. We once went about 5 years ago. Our first experience we had brunch with some very tasty sandwiches, we sat outside with a lovely view of the Coronado Bridge. This time it was dinner and we sat inside. I ordered the crabcakes as my entree, there were three about the size of a 50 cent piece. There were not very hot, they were cool inside then lightly fried. It did have a nice salad and sauce surrounding it. I was very hungry so did not say anything. My husband had a cup of She crab soup which was under seasoned and "ok" fish and chips with bland fries. Last time we were here I remember the fries being really good. Our family enjoyed their mushroom risotto and beyond burger.

Anytime we visit San Diego, this is our last meal of the trip. We have always enjoyed brunch at the harbor since our children were tiny. The food is good, not great, but the view and people watching location is unbeat. The service is always nice and the restaurant is always clean. Right in the middle of Seaport Village, this place is highly recommended for a relaxing meal.

We made reservations for dinner at this great restaurant in Seaport Village for a weekday night. It was busy but we probably didn't need the reservation although it's better safe than sorry. We were immediately seated indoors with a wonderful view of the harbor. They have outdoor seating too but it was a bit chilly that night and we had noticed several tables asking to be moved indoors despite the heaters. Our spunky waitress did a fantastic job of taking care of us even considering she had far too many tables to attend to. She even took the time to come to our table and ask us if we wanted to go outside to watch a SpaceX launch as it was happening right then; it was a very cool thing to see and we appreciated her letting us know.I ordered fish and chips along with a glass of lemonade. The lemonade seemed freshly made, tart but refreshingly so. The fish was Alaskan cod, my favorite, and was light in flavor and fried perfectly. Malt vinegar was provided as was tartar sauce but the latter was used mainly to dip my thick fries into. This meal of fish and chips was the best I've had outside of the Pacific Northwest.Tiramisu for dessert! Their description: espresso & rum-soaked sponge cake, mascarpone, whipped cream, shaved chocolate. This was executed perfectly and I enjoyed the flavors in the sponge cake immensely. Considering this is a tourist spot the prices were reasonable. I'd definitely return here if I was choosing a place to eat in Seaport Village.

The chosen spot for dinner tonight on the water's edge. No too busy in the early season, so we walked right in and had a minimal wait time.I wasn't too hungry, so a light appetizer and a couple of tacos hit the spot. The service was excellent! Several people checked in and helped ensure the experience was top notch. It's always nice to be well taken care of - kudos to the staff!
