The sandwiches were amazing! The bread was fresh and perfect texture and the sandwiches are loaded with fresh, quality meats, cheeses and vegetables. The owners are friendly and very fast! The facility is clean and not loud and is great - but they offer take out if you prefer. Go get a sandwich!

Small family owned business (sandwich shop) that's been in this Poway office park for years. The husband and wife are super friendly and eager to answer any questions you have. Big hearty sandwiches at great prices. Very pleased with my turkey and ham sandwich (think it's called the Howard Cosell). Question: was there ever an Eat Your Heart Out I?

I was in the area for a vet appointment and found this gem on Yelp. It is nestled in a business park and has both indoor and outdoor seating options. I had a breakfast croissant with ham, egg, and American cheese. It was definitely a lot of food, especially for just $6. The ham was the best part of the sandwich, so I bet their other sandwiches rock; the croissant wasn't the freshest but great value for the money. The owners were quite friendly and welcoming; they made me feel like they value all of their customers. They showed me twice where the water was that I could have complimentary... most places don't do that LOL. They mentioned that they have been there for 25 years. That tracked, as it looks a bit dated with the tube tvs and furnishings that were similar to what I had in my house in the 1990's. It was SUPER clean nonetheless. Please note that there is a $0.50 surcharge for credit cards. Great gem to visit!

I was craving a turkey, bacon avocado sandwich, and started searching around on yelp and asking friends where I should go. They led me to eat your heart out on Stowe and I'm glad they did. I walked in and noticed that it was small and there was a help wanted sign on the outside so my expectations were fairly low. I was greeted by the owner, a lady with see-through gloves on and a lunch lady hair cover. She told me I was ready and I asked for a turkey bacon, avocado sandwich. She said a number nine and asked me what type of toast I wanted I went with sourdough. and the rest is history. Her husband operated the cash register, rang me up and asked me if it was my first time at the restaurant I said yes and he said we give rookies to cookies and rang a bell to alert the other customers in the restaurant there was a slight applause and laughter after the banal platitudes and informalities, I was handed my sandwich, and was told to have a great day. When I began to eat the sandwich, I was impressed with the amount of turkey, bacon and avocado that was loaded on three slices of sourdough bread. The bread was slightly toasted and lightly lathered with mayonnaise and mustard sandwich included shredded lettuce, red onions and tomato. It was a 10 out of 10 I will be back for more.

You guys! PLEASE don't sit on this place! It's owned by the sweetest couple and their sandwiches are ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS and prices are great! We've been here a bunch of times and have yet to have a bad meal. We usually stop by when we're already headed to Poway but this morning my husband and I were craving it so bad we drove down just to have a little breakfast date. We got a bagel breakfast sandwich: everything bagel with cream cheese, sausage, and egg, The Godfather Club, and chips. The cookies are complimentary!

Excellent service, amazing portions, incredibly tasty food and welcoming environment. Perfect mom & pop spot that has years of experience and it shows in the quality. Find it!

Great place, great food, great owners! My wife and I were blown away at the size of our hot pastrami sandwich. It was huge! We split it and could barely finish it. The owners are very friendly and you can tell they take a lot of care and pride in what they do. The place was extremely clean and organized. Highly highly recommended.

Absolutely incredible people. Amazing sandwiches. A tucked little gem you'd miss if you didn't know it was there! It was a best service, delicious sandwiches, clearly a local spot I can't believe I didn't know about the last 25 years! Best part of the whole thing, I dropped my wallet and they drove it all the way to my house. If I couldn't give this 10 stars I would. Tell your friends! Have the egg salad or pastrami! YUM! Now that is service!!!

The food was great. My wife and I got the #3 & #8, and both were good. The macaroni salad small is really small so he aware. It's a ramican size. They were very personable and nice people. I would recommend this deli if you haven't tried them.
