Early Bird Vegan

Been meaning to visit here a while and finally got to when I purchased two surprise bags from TooGoodToGo. Since I'm not usually in this area, I bought two so that I could try more menu items but they ended up being the same food items in each. There's a good amount of parking when I stopped by before closing (2pm). I was greeted warmly at the counter as I shared that I was picking up my bags. This was the first bag I've gotten that included a drink, which is great! Wouldn't have purchased a boba drink elsewhere if I knew this. The drink had mushroom in it, according to the staff member assisting me. But it tasted like Thai tea, so I think that's what it was, and delicious. My food was some sort of fake chicken (fried mushroom?) slider with pickles and a side of spinach, tomatoes, onions, and tortilla strips. I didn't like the slider - too oily for me with a weird taste. My bag also included dessert which was some sort of pumpkin cake, very tasty!Overall I'm glad I tried this spot as I enjoy vegan restaurants and would come back to try other menu items when in the area. I recommend the TooGoodToGo app to save money and food waste!

I recently discovered this vegan spot in Tempe, it's located in the lobby of a medical office building (Sonoran University of health sciences). They're open for breakfast and lunch, menu consists of bowls, mac & cheese, sandwiches, pastries, coffee/tea/drinks. The Mac & cheez is creamy goodness, this is a must try. The bowls are full of flavor .. including classics like buffalo chicken and shrimp Mac & cheez. Everything is nicely seasoned and packaged if your order is to go. Plenty of indoor and patio seating, staff is super friendly, parking and the front entrance is accessed through the back of the building parking lot.

First time here and definitely won't be my last. I had the breakfast sandwich with tofu and "sausage" patty and it hit every spot!! So filling, warm and delicious! It came with a small side of tortilla chips which was a nice surprise. The woman who took my order was so sweet and recommended me the tacos or Mac and cheese because they are popular but I went with the sandwich because I really wanted breakfast! It was an easy to find spot and there was a lot of parking available. The inside is spacious and there's patio seating as well!

Pesto grilled cheez was my favorite of the food gambit, the ciabatta bun was so fresh while the grilled onion and tomatoes and lettuce complimented the perfect storm of flavor and texture. Also we given a few fried and seasoned mushrooms that were amazing. The (3) stake and ehgg tacos had a perfect blend of red onion, cilantro, jalapeño, and other blended flavors you will be glad there are more than a few. The famous DR J ehgg mkmuffin style sandwich was loaded with arugula tomatoes, avocado and cheez sauce, with the proteins being the sausage and tofu ehgg. More than a mouthful so prepare to unhinge your jaw and channel the inner boa or anaconda for eating. The lavender latte was incredible, so unique and not overly sweet. The breakfast wrap/burrito was filled with perfectly sautéed potatoes, tofu ehgg and sausage that came with a ranch sauce and a few packets of cholula. Overall it was a fun place to try and has a great depth of brekkie and lunch items. Staff and chef were very courteous and friendly. Plenty of seating indoor and out. Had an eclectic music playlist going as well.

Unsure of what to order well, the quinoa, birdie bowl is a fabulous choice. The agave vinaigrette was a delicious addition. Arugula, quinoa, red onion, sweet potato, chickpea. I would certainly order it again.

This place is great! It's a wonderful mom and pop business with wonderful food and drink offerings! The local spot if large and open and bustling with interesting people and happenings. I would highly recommend this food and these folks.

Just fabulous! I had avocado toast and my husband had the chicken tacos. Open and very clean. They were both excellent! The staff and service were friendly and inviting. We will be back

Very friendly staff. Clean and spacious restaurant with outdoor seating along with indoor. All vegan which is fantastic. The lavender cake is amazing. I tried the Buffalo chicken sandwich and really enjoyed it. I will certainly be back when in the area

No bias, this place has some great dishes but the wait time is way too inconsistent. Today we placed an order in a dining room with just two tables sat, and waited over 30 minutes for a burrito. It's good food, but just be aware this place clearly has some operational hiccups. I suggest ordering ahead online, even if you plan to dine in. If ownership reads this, you have a great concept and menu, please invest in operations!!

This was one of the first vegan spots we tried when we moved to Phoenix a few years ago and you can tell that the Chef continues to perfect her craft! The Dr J with the cheesy sauce slaps every time, but my husband and I just grabbed brunch after being out of town for a couple weeks and I swear it was the best meal we've had!
