Dunwoody Tavern

had an awesome lunch with my friend Benny. We sat at the bar and our server/bartender was Yasmin. She made our experience so much fun. She goes by little Sassy so be sure to shout out! The food was outstanding. First time I'd ever got a Caesar salad with gyro meat... you've got to try it! Great experience.

I have been coming here for YEARS! since 1999 actually. we have had St Patricks day here, a memorial afterparty, a high school reunion, pre-Thanksgiving meetups, etc. Not to mention the many happy hours we do here. Great patio area, great live music and a lot of tvs to watch all the games. Food is really good and a good menu with lots of options, good pub food. Staff is always friendly, restrooms are always clean. And lots of games, including some pool tables.

What a great place. 4.5 stars isn't an option, but that's about where I would land. I had never been there before and stopped by for a private function in a largely private meeting space. I was very impressed with all the appetizers that were brought out for the group and very impressed by the service. Great draft beer options, warm friendly atmosphere and great service. Dunwoody is fortunate to have such a great meeting place. Among the many appetizers, the loaded nachos were definitely the star attraction. I'm usually not a big nacho fan but these were tasty, light and hard to stop eating. I'd make a meal out of the nachos and be happy. I'm jealous. We need a Dunwoody Tavern in Sandy Springs.

Go there to drink not eat!Our salad came out wrong twice. My dad ordered a rare burger & it came out with zero pink. My cottage pie had clearly been reheated - it tasted like old beef & the mashed potatoes were dry - it wasn't edible. Luckily the manager comped both but he acted like it was a me issue that I didn't like the cottage pie. I've had legit cottage pie in England & Ireland & I make really good version myself. Disappointing. My dad got the smoked salmon wedge salad when the burger was overdone & the salmon was this weird gray blob & he barely ate it. Our poor server seemed new but was nice & felt bad. The manager & kitchen staff however need to get it together. Save yourself $ and hassle & either skip this place or just go drink there.

One of my fav local pubs in the area to grab inexpensive drinks and socialize with cool, down to earth people. Friendly, neighborhood establishment where I've always gotten good service, had a pleasant experience, and it didn't cost a freaking arm and a leg.

The BBQ Quesadillas were really good. This place isn't packed when we went mid day in Sunday. I bet it's a great spot on a Saturday and could certainly be packed. They have a couple billiards tables and other games. Great vibes.

Tuscan wrap was delicious! My sister had the Dunwoody Burger. Th server was very attentive.

I've been here a few times for food and occasionally drinks. The atmosphere is chill because its mostly a neighborhood bar. I really enjoy the patio because it has a fireplace which is really nice in the winter. Only con is the music could be more mixed.

This business is in a familiar plaza. I really like the Thai restaurant next door. I met up with a guy for a first date. Two drinks Jamison & ginger beer, tasty & filled to the top. The tavern is spacious. Huge. Several TVs, couches & pool tables. We had an entire section to ourselves without worrying about social distance. No masks in sight but we knew better to have our own. Staff are very attentive & came around @ least 3-4 times. I marked down because near the restrooms & end of the bar is a foul smell. Sewage or cabbage? It's just gross. Wouldn't order food because I wouldn't know the cleanliness based on scent. That sucks! I'd visit again for sure for my same drinks.

The almond, bacon, chopped salad with smoked Gouda is basically missing the almonds, the bacon and the cheese. What a joke The place is good for drinks, but avoid the food!
