Dumpling The Noodle

We ordered lamen, lamen soup, and pork bao - they all taste really good! Will definitely come back!

***Happy hour: Tues-Fri 4:30p-6p***Bulgogi Soup dumplings: 5/5Surprisingly had soup ! Sweet flavor from soup and dumpling. Crispy Vegan Wontons: 4/5Carrots, cabbage, ginger. Not an overwhelming finer flavor and a good crunch. Comes with sweet and sour sauce. Green onion pancake: 5/5Come precut and stacked on a plate. Could've eaten 4 more servings of those for sure ‍Pork & shrimp wontons with spicy sauce: 5/5FAV: the sauce that it comes is so flavorful. I would buy just that if they bottled it. The table side chili sauce and the black vinegar were also to die for. The mixture of the two can make anything taste good. We went right at opening so it was quiet and the windows brought in great lighting ! Delicious and reasonably priced. Would recommend :)

had a reservation at 8:15 but came a bit earlier since we were close to the area. i would definitely recommend booking ahead of time because it was so crowded. there were tons of people waiting on line and the waiting area gets crowded easily. our food came out pretty quick. the beef pancake roll was my favorite. i've been wanting to try this for a while and it did not disappoint. the flavors were delicious and the crunch of the pancake was perfect. i also loved how meaty this dish was. the beef lamen was also pretty good. it says it's supposed to be spicy on the menu but it was not which i'm grateful for because i have a low spice tolerance. by the time i finished my half of the beef pancake i was halfway full, so we had a ton of leftover. the dumplings weren't anything special to me. i like how they're all soup dumplings but i wish there was more of a variety of textures. i also wish the pan frying at the bottom was more crisp. i liked the crispy chicken wonton the best. my second favorite was the pork and chive dumpling. the other dumplings were flavorful but i just didn't care much for them.

This restaurant was situated in a really cute area of Wallingford. I came here on Easter Sunday so the restaurant was not too busy. This is my first time having dumpling the noodle in restaurant. Usually we just order to go and I must say it was a lot better in person! The braised beef noodle soup was nice and hardy. It had a good portion of beef and the beef was so tender. The pork buns were super juicy too. It was a lot of food for an entree and appetizer! I will definitely continue to dine here :)

Pretty yummy and well priced! The service was a bit confusing, but I think that's more our own fault of not knowing how it works here. Ambiance was fun! Spicy fried chicken was delicious! And all the pan fried dumplings were definitely worth a try! Definitely worth coming back to try more things!

A spot that I would certainly return to! Though I only got to try a couple of the items this time around, I really want to try more. We made a reservation ahead of time and they were able to accommodate our party of 9 quickly.I shared the chili beef lamen and signature pork onion buns. This was the perfect amount I felt, but if you're really hungry you could probably get another item too. The pork buns had really good flavor, though I wished they were soupy like the smaller sheng jian bao. I absolutely loved the noodles though! They were so thick and chewy which really highlighted their handmade-ness, and the sauce that they were in was so so yummy. There was also a really generous portion of beef and some other veggies inside. I would absolutely get that again or try another one of their lamen!Service was quick and efficient, and the space itself is really aesthetic and nice. I would highly recommend!

I visited Dumpling The Noodle during a weekday for dinner with a group of friends and had a great time enjoying the food together! We ordered family style and shared plates, so I got to sample many dumplings and dishes from the menu. The cilantro spicy beef was probably my favorite dish, but you really can't go wrong! I don't recommend the noodle soup bowls if you are planning to share because they don't come with extra bowls or spoons, so I would avoid those if that is your plan (though they were still delicious!) Service was fairly quick. Servers would cross off dishes as they came out, so you know they won't miss anything!

Absolutely fantastic. Literally everything we ordered was scrumptious. Take your pick of sweet and sour cucumbers, sichuan dry fried string beans, green onion pancake, bulgogi beef dumplings, beef onion dumplings, pork onion buns, or chili beef lamen. Great for a small or larger group. Service was great and attentive.

Food is pretty good. Got the chili shrimp noodle, and it was ok. I know that it said it had mild chili sauce, but I wish there was a spicier option. I wish the same for most of the chili dishes, including wontons. The service was good, and the server was nice. Portions are pretty big, so you get your price's worth. The atmosphere was nice--pretty noisy on busy night but is fine seems homey like on street.
