Dump Truck by Plenty of Clouds

They're set up in Cloudburst, offering lots of Asian fusion dishes, most of which can be or are default vegan. We ordered some dan dan noodles ($13 plus tax), which were brought out in about 15 minutes. The order came with a decent portion of medium thick wheat noodles, fried tofu, a few pieces of carrot, some picked veggies, and coated in a sour, sesame peanuty sauce filled with Szechuan peppercorns. Not an authentic take on the dish and the sauce was a bit too sour, but the peppercorns were a nice touch and the sauce was tasty enough. Pleasant stuff.

This food truck is located in the cloudburst beer garden and it's such a cute little spot! Perfect place for a sunny day to grab a beer and food and it's dog friendly you order from the truck and it takes about 10-15 minutes and staff is super friendly.For food we've ordered a few things off the appetizer menu and two noodle dishes! chrysanthemum salad : this had so much flavor and it was delicious! Definitely get this for a side if you like a little bit of sour and savory taste. It has chilies and "spicy" peanuts but I thought it could use more spice. Silly chickpea curd: it wasn't my favorite - thought it tasted bland Sichuan pork dumplings: this was my favorite out of all the dishes! Sesame noodles : got this dish with tofu because I went with my vegan friend and the tofu was very flavorful and crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Noodles were cooked perfectly but I thought this could use a little more spice and seasoning. It tasted a bit bland but I added the leftover chili oil from the dumplings and it was perfectDan Dan noodles: I couldn't tell the difference between this and the sesame noodles- my friend and I thought they l taste the same but this was also a little bland.Overall, the vibe of this place is great- dog friendly, outdoor seatings, and quick grab. But I don't think I'll be back for the food- I thought a lot of the dishes were bland and not very authentic.

A wonderful find! 10/10 for the food and vibe. Really friendly guys at the food truck. Sichuan Pork Dumplings were so darn delicious. The cucumbers with Sichuan sauce was amazing too. I liked the sauce so much I wanted to buy it, but the guys at the truck gave a sampler for free. Everything on the plate was so fresh and they even had good vegetarian options. Definitely a chill place to hangout at. You could get beer at the adjacent bar. Would recommend 100% if you're in the area.

Inedible.Trying to capture the essence of unique Chinese spices, but completely overloading/ over killing the dishes. Two of three were honestly inedible. If you have a hot dog, you don't dump tons of mustard, hot sauce, jalapeños, and sweet relish. That would be gross. This place is very gross. Ease up on the flavors, seek subtlety, save me from buying peptide Bismol. Get a real chef!!

**vegetarian review**I was excited to see a good amount of vegetarian options! I got the Dan Dan noodles with mushroom and tofu as well as the chrysanthemum salad. Dan dan noodles -The portion size is good and the flavour is really strong. The sauce has that Sichuan pepper kick which I love!On downside my sauce leaked and made a mess. It was quite a bit of cleanup. chrysanthemum salad The salad is basic with chrysanthemum leaves, garlic and chilly. I expected some kinda of dressing and was disappointed from the lack off. It felt overpriced for $7. That said I mixed it in with my noodles and definitely liked that combination.

I've stopped here twice on bike rides to Shilshole. The outdoor dining area is a very pleasant place to enjoy delicious food from the Dump Truck. Alas, I haven't tried the dumplings but have enjoyed two of the noodle dishes: sesame noodles with tofu and mushroom and mala noodle soup with chicken. Both were packed with flavorful and hit the spot. Will look forward to trying more food here and maybe visiting their restaurant someday too.

Stumbled upon this gem while out for a walk. The outdoor seating was plentiful and inviting, and the service was prompt and efficient.However, the food itself was not impressive. The sesame noodles and cold noodles were overly tangy and lacked depth of flavor. The dumplings were decent but not outstanding. Additionally, the prices were quite high for a food truck.While the atmosphere and service were pleasant, I'd recommend giving this place a pass due to the mediocre food and high prices

I see this truck daily and I always told myself I was going to swing into the brewery and try the dumplings. I'm a sucker for them! I finally did! No regrets. Dumplings galore. I wish there was more to the order cause I didn't want to stop eating them. It's a cute truck and friendly service. Best part I can bring my pup! Grab a god beer and sit outside and enjoy the colorful ambiance with all their picnic tables.

Incredible little fusion spot tucked away behind the busy streets of Ballard and planted right next to a brewery. Food was super flavorful (Dan Dan noodles are great and filling), but the cucumbers with Szechuan took home the medal.Appreciate the guy working there too, he was kind and very helpful, will be back.

Dump truck has great food great options and you get to enjoy cloudburst selection of beers! The service was quick and everything tasted incredible. Great spot in Ballard comfy spots and plenty of room for big groups! There are outside snd inside spots that make it great for any season! Make sure to get the the Sichuan Pork Dumplings!
