Food was delicious however the servings were a tad small besides their pork chop. The mussels were impeccable. Service and ambiance was great.

If you like Fresh and Local this is the place for you. The menu changes often because they do stuff in season. The pear salad was a must yum and I tried the pork chops also tender and great.

Popped in for a quick drink and appetizer. The oysters were delicious, the drinks tasty and the service was excellent. And let's not forget the view on Alki. Wow!

This is an incredible restaurant and perfect for celebrating special occasions. Their location is right along Alki beach so you can enjoy your dinner while looking out on beautiful sunsets. We came here to celebrate a birthday and the staff made the whole experience feel very special. We grabbed the mussels and rolls for appetizers. I was especially blown away by the freshness of the mussels and would've happily taken a dozen for myself. For entrees, we tried the pork chop and rockfish. Again, the seafood was the real winner for me; it was flaky with a gorgeous crust that paired so beautifully with the eggplant baba ghanoush. You have to get a little lucky with parking around here since it's only street parking but we were able to find a spot within a block of the restaurant.

We started with the pull-apart rolls, with butter and honey ... yum. We had the seaside martini (good), the Mystic margarita (delicious), and the Chateau Domaine Sauvignon blanc (with some oak, but good flavor). Then came the charred squash with peppers, which had a good variety of flavors packed in a few bites - very good. Then we had the black cod (delicate, flavorful, delicious) and the pork chop (well seasoned, cooked to perfection, on a bed of corn goulash - really good). We rounded it out with the chocolate olive oil cake -- which was rich and tasty -- but we didn't try the cornmeal honey cake, and wished we had -- we saw it at another table and it looked great. The service was attentive and unobtrusive (the way it should be). The restaurant seemed a little noisy at first, but that too changed and it became intimate and easy for conversation as the evening wore on.

We were visiting Seattle for the first time & learned about Driftwood through Numa's coffee pop up. We booked last minute reservations for that evening, instead of another place we had planned for weeks, and let me tell ya, we did not regret it! This food is EVERYTHING and more! Fresh, local & high quality. The chef who built this menu is a pro & all the "weird" flavors and ingredients in each dish paired together perfectly. I left saying "that was the best food I've ever had." It was heavenly! Our money was well spent and perfect for a celebration meal. Highly recommend!

Food: - Portions meant to share - you can even do that with the mains.- Mildly modern presentation - Traditional methods for cooking and ingredients (good for the traditional pallet). - Cocktails are good - not phenomenal.- Expect to pay 100 bucks per personVibe: - Business casual. - Lively!- You will need a reservation or a lot of luck if you want to walk-in. Summary: This is a good place you go to for people who like great food that's not overly adventurous but done extremely well. Or you want a great restaurant experience where you'll fit in wearing whatever you want. You'll spend money here, but you'll not regret it.

Me and my fiancé dined here last night for Valentine's Day. Their tasting menu was amazing. The mussel escabeche was exquisite - I made an audible "mmm" after taking the bite. The salted and smoked sturgeon course was amazing. We loved the steelhead - the crispy skin was perfect. We didn't opt for the wine pairing, but I had a couple cocktails and my fiancé had a couple mocktails. The Yuletide Mule and Boulevardier were fantastic!Loved the ambiance and our server was kind and attentive. The one knock is that we were there for 3.5 hours for a 9 course tasting. Their kitchen must've been slammed, but hey it's the busiest restaurant night of the year! We felt bad for the later reservations, some didn't look pleased with the wait. But, the extended time gave us ample time to enjoy the dinner without getting too full. Would definitely go again. Highly recommend.

Dined here a few nights ago and I'm still thinking about the mussels! They're cooked then chilled and are delicious with the sweet onion, pickled veggie, and herb oil. We ordered a dozen but easily could have eaten two. Everything else we ate was delicious and we left feeling full despite just sharing a few small apps and one entree. My only small critique is the topping on the oysters was a little too.... Fibrous? We came on a busy Friday night and had a bit of a wait despite our reservation. The hostess checked in with us though and kept us well informed. Service was super friendly. Will definitely be back!
