Dreamer Ice Cream

I took my 3-year-old nephew there around 5:30 pm yesterday ) 4/12) it was good to see parents and children spending time together. But the best part of the visit was the young man behind the counter, and I'm sorry I didn't get his name! The BEST service and incredible smile and so patient with every customer. Take your child and spend time together in this nice family-friendly place. And the ice cream was very good too!

We found this quiet ice cream parlor in Tacoma about a 2min drive from the Kaiser hospital. It is locally owned and the owner of the shop served us this day. He was very friendly and accommodating to our flavor preferences. He mixed a few flavors to make our peach, strawberry, banana smoothie that was so refreshing. We also got a waffle cone with a scoop of rocky road and a cake cone with rocky road. The ice cream was creamy and had large slivers of almond rather than small chips. There were several small tables for seating on the inside. They are right off of Sprague Ave. located in the shopping center behind Walgreens. There is plenty of parking directly in front of the shop.

Generous portions, unfortunately, you probably don't want generous portions of it. I got the butter pecan (I'm not sure which brand it was), but it was not creamy, its icey, and not very flavorful. They make their own waffle cones so we upgraded for that, unfortunately they don't taste very good. I don't know if they taste good when they're fresh, But I feel like my son nailed the flavor profile when he said that it tasted rancid. Not something I wanted to eat. Which is sad because its usually my favorite part. I needed to review this place because all these reviews are good, and we went there based on that. So it was super disappointing. I want people to have a more realistic expectation.My son got mango pineapple, it tasted like old frozen syrup. My daughter got bubble gum and cotton candy. The bubble gum was really good, but the cotton candy was sweet frozen ice. $20+ for ice ice (no cream) that was all destined for the trash can. We all regretted the decision to try something new and trust these reviews.

Good ice cream! Good prices! Clean store! Whisky praline & strawberry cheesecake are delicious! Deja saw we had our dog with us and mentioned they offered pup cups! So enjoy the photo of my dog devouring a tiny ice cream cone!

Highly recommend Dreamers Ice Cream. Great selection of ice cream with a uniquely flavored waffle cones. Awesome owners that need the support of the local community to thrive. Stop in and give it a try if you haven't yet.

Wonderful addition to the neighborhood, great service, reasonably priced. I had a 2 scoop sundae that was amazing. They definitely use high quality ingredients. We will be back when we have a craving!

friendly, very clean, good choices of ice cream and cones. convenient And easy to find off I-5. Smells like waffle cones when you open the door! Good prices too.

I honestly get ice cream very rarely. First time here. Ice cream was good but surprised for just a single ice cream on waffle cone and kids cup total was $9. Seems expensive to me

Tbh I'm not big on ice cream but my husband is, we stopped in and I figured maybe I'll try it. So I ended up getting a 2 scoop with a waffle cone in the cup and boy let me tell you I mopped that up in a second lol. So yes my favorite ice cream place to come to. My husbands fave as well, we've tried other places and didn't even finish the whole ice cream and ended up wasting it ugh (I hate wasting food). My husband has the 2 scoop as well he had the strawberry and pineapple something (he loved it) said it's the best strawberry he's tasted. And I had the salted caramel with cookies and cream the first time and the praline the second time and boy did I eat it up like there was no tomorrow lol! Love this place
