Dragon Bowl

Well it's hard to find good Chinese food. Sure there's "gourmet" Chinese food here and there but come on, that doesn't make it "good". The location of Dragon Bowl might turn some people off. It is NOT the best neighborhood in town. Don't be fooled, the food makes up for it. The service is super friendly but you came here for the cuisine. Now the prices don't break the bank either (unlike the gourmet places). Not to mention the Inside is quite inviting and comfortable too. But again, food. We came hungry, but with Chinese food there's always leftovers right? Nope. Not this time. Just look at the picture. That's a healthy portion, but not a single piece of chicken or noodle came home with me. I ALMOST finished my rice too. My wife had the same experience. "But why, Dana? Why didn't you have leftovers?"I'm glad you asked. It was, so, damn, good. NOT pictured was the wantons and spring rolls, which had the perfect amount of ginger in the rolls. Speaking of roll, we did roll out afterwards, yes, but totally worth it. It really is hard to find good Chinese food, I'm not gonna lie. Dragon Bowl fits the bill.

I have had a long week and I figured some Chinese food would fill me up .I walk in, there was an awkward stare from the staff, no one smiled.I was very confused about the menu. One person did help me understand what I was ordering better but I will NEVER return.I felt very uncomfortable and unwelcomed!I will just drive across town to my usual Chinese food spot " Chen Wok"!

Great place to get together with friends over lunch. Quite and easy to have a conversation. Service was spot on. The bbq pork was wonderful. Crab puffs were amazing, make sure to get them. Beef and broccoli lunch was ordered spicy, and it was perfect! Everything was so flavorful. We'll be back.

Really solid place. Reasonable prices. Great food and great staff. Checks the "hole in wall" box while also being a cute Chinese little restaurant. I recommend the fried rice and Singapore rice noodles. The Singapore rice noodles are not spicy at all. I almost wish it was spicer, but I'm glad it's not for my sake! Lol

It was pretty challenging to find a restaurant that was open on Christmas Eve. We called several places with no answer. Finally Dragon Bowl to the rescue.It was super busy here naturally. Most of the patrons were getting takeout while a few people dined in. We also got our Yui Shun chicken order to go. It has a chili pepper by it to indicate the meal is spicy. I did recall that their meals were not burning tongue specials. I walked over to Dollar Tree to kill time while waiting. Our meal came out just as I returned to the restaurant. Great timing on my part. We enjoyed the tender chicken breast with a variety of tasty vegetables. You could see the scattered chili peppers in the meal. The spice was just right for us. Any more chili peppers and it would have been too hot. Shared parking lot.

Ambiance: A well worn neighborhood Chinese restaurant. About 8 tables, clientele locals.Food: All the American-Chinese staples are on the menu: Walnut Shrimp, Egg Foo Young, Sweet & Sout Chicken. All all very good, not excellent but very good. Service: Very friendly, seated promptly.Price: Very good considering the portions.Overall: A great place if you want American-Chinese in a reflexed neighborhood environment.

We ordered take out. They were fast in preparing our order, the food was nice and hot, and, even though some cartons were mislabeled, everything was correct. It was delicious and, even though the portions were large enough that there should have been leftovers, there weren't!

War wonton soup, cheese puffs, shrimp, rice. All good! Fresh!Take out order was quick and hot. The soup was a good size and with more to share later on and full of shrimp chicken meat and wontons.

Great food!!! A lot of food for the $$. We've never had a bad meal. Fast delivery as well! Highly recommend!

We have been going to this restaurant for many years now and always return as its simply excellent, reasonable prices and very friendly staff. Lily and the rest of the family who run the restaurant bend over backwards to help. The food has always been very good and tasty, and the soups are so good that we usually try to get some to take home and enjoy the next day. The house special friend rice is excellent and our favorite is the Lemon Chicken. Stop on by and give them a try!
