DOZO Izakaya

Delicious Miso Ramen and Tonkatsu Ramen! The broth is delicious and nourishing. We also had the Fried Rice with Veggies and Miso Soup and Chicken Wings. The wings are SO crispy! My son and his wife had been ill, and Dozo Izakaya is what they requested for their first meal after they recovered! The pick-up order was ready when I arrived. Great food and service!

Found this place randomly after a long day at work and it hit the spot! Very friendly and hospitable. Super cute place hidden in the back of the plaza but easy to find. The flavor of the Ramen we had was some of the best I've had in the valley. We will be back!

I just adore this place and love the owners and staff. Their food is wonderful and reasonably priced for Japanese food. This place is family-owned, and that feeling of family extends to everyone who enters. Try everything on the menu. My son puts together various combinations of "appetizers" as full meals, as well as relishing their regular meal options. This place is not only my favorite Japanese restaurant, but my favorite restaurant in the Valley.

Ordered delivery and the squid salad was about two bites worth of food and more 'fishy' tasting than usual. Would have sent it back if I was at the restaurant. Got some rolls and sashimi as well, they were ok but nothing worth writing home about, felt like grocery store sushi. Much better places around for sushi.

Best Japanese food in town and the best katsudon I've ever had. The food always tastes fresh and is cooked to perfection. The chicken is perfectly tender all the way through and the rolls are consistently good every time. The staff are always warm, welcoming, and give a 5 star dining experience. I can't recommend this place enough if you are hungry and looking for a cool, relaxing setting to dine.

Food was pretty good and tasted authentic. The sushi was fresh which is a must. I had udon and the serving was huge and the broth was great and comforting especially for a cold winter night. The tempura was lightly battered and was perfectly fried which is another must. Service was slow. There was only one person taking care of everyone and the place was almost full. The restaurant looks like a typical small place. It's a must try.

A group of friends that travel to Japan frequently recommended this spot saying they have most authentic Japanese food around. That was years ago, and my bf and I have been regulars ever since. The actual restaurant is quite small inside, but remains fairly comfortable, even when it's busy. There has been a change in ownership recently, but the high quality of service & food has not changed. The keita roll is my favorite, and I would go just for that alone. The ramen (we get the jojuku) is equally amazing and the broth is wonderful. Have also tried the spicy edamame, tempura (shrimp is the best), chicken teriyaki, fried rice, and several of their rolls. Only thing I can remember not completely loving was the fried rice, but I prefer Thai style fried rice so it's nothing personal.

Waitress was kind and very attentive to what I needed! A robust vegetarian ramen broth, the flavor was amazing! They didn't make it as spicy as I'd like and she accommodated me with their house made chili paste in oil. I also had the yam avocado roll which so surprisingly flavorful and delicious! Will definitely be back!

They were busy but didn't have to wait too long for a table for 4 and a baby. The food was great, I shared the tonkotsu ramen with the wife. They ordered assorted sushi and skewers. Friendly service. A+

First time here...amazing authentic food and excellent hospitality. We came in 20 mins before they closed and intended to order and eat quickly to not disrespect their closing time. Not only did she highly encourage us to stay and relax, she engaged in conversation throughout our visit
