Downtown Rendezvous

I work in the building and am tempted by the wonderful smell of bacon every morning. Everything I've ever ordered here has been good. It's recently changed hands, and I will say that it has definitely gotten better. The daily specials are so good that we will often see "sold out" written on the daily white board menu. This is the only place that I've liked the turkey burger, and the Overdone Grilled cheese is sooo good. The Anti Lettuce Salad is also great if you are watching what you eat--it's a plate with veggies, cheese cubes, boiled egg, hummus and dill dip--perfect for the munchies!

Quaint little place, remodeling. The food was delicious, great flavors, waitress was very friendly. Would like to go back and try other menu items.

New to the area and Downtown Rendezvous was a place I was looking forward to trying out. It was a Thursday morning I was not in the mood to make my own breakfast so off I went.Downtown Rendezvous is at the Mesa city building and easy to access. This is a cute mom and pop café. After checking out the menu I went with a green chili breakfast burrito, it had two eggs, cheese, potatoes, homemade salsa, green chilis, onions and jalapenos. This was just what I was craving! So dang good!I did check out their lunch menu and they do offer a lot of good looking choices and will be back to try them out! If in the area go give them a try!

Best home cooked breakfast by Mesa Downtown! The staff are very nice & makes you feel at home. Food is fairly priced & tastes delicious.

It looks like no one has posted a menu in a good while. Based on the menus posted, even if they were dated, I thought we'd take the extra drive to give it a try. Prices have gone way up like everyone else. But for the money not sure its a bargain anymore. Eggs, no meat ($6.99) breakfast for me. Wife had a side of 4 bacon ($4.49) and taters ($2.99, she doesn't eat eggs). She also had coffee ($2.75) and toast $2.29). The bill was $25 with tip. Bacon was decent. Eggs pretty good quality. Toast was not so good. Small and thin. Potatoes were great. Coffee was good. The ladies were wonderfully friendly and attentive. The restaurant is next door to a city office so they have regulars in and out. Its clean and comfortable. If I go back I would try the burritos. They seem to be popular.

Ms. Cindy is a hoot. It was mine and my partners first time in and didn't know that breakfast stopped at 11. It wasn't busy and we asked if we could still put an order of French toast in and she made it happen for us. The second we walked in it felt like we went to grandmas house and she was asking what we wanted to eat. Not to mention, the food is amazing and you can't beat the prices. Thank you for breakfast Ms. Cindy we'll be back!!

This is the best food, service and ambience I have ever had at a restaurant, this is homemade and home style food. Coming back again today for lunch after breakfast. My new obsession. Breakfast MADE WITH

This is the kind of "hidden gem" that makes it away from you and you only know about based on either word of mouth or you just know it's there. Rendezvous is a hat-tip to the ol' Mom-and-Pop cafes that have a great owner who cares about the local town. Filled with all the things that indicate the key ingredient is love, Rendezvous is a great stop for a morning burrito or an afternoon sandwich! Highly recommended.

So many great things to say. We had a wonderful breakfast at this location - easy walk from convention center. Staff were personable and restaurant was clean. Food was delicious. Highly recommend.

Fancy? NO. Delicious? Absolutely. I'm not much of a fan of paying for fancy, but I'll pay for delicious all day long. At Cindi's suggestion I had the Happy Jack breakfast sandwich and my wife had the veggie scramble. I can't say enough about had good my sandwich was and my wife said the same about her scramble. I had a lot of fun looking at the menu. Every time I found something that I thought I would order I would see something else and change my mind. I think there are huge possibilities for what to order on future visits.
