We were at La Jolla Shores with the family and needed some lunch, and dough momma hit the spot by far Large slices of pizza are great for folding into a pizza taco The spicy Hawaiian is perfect The combo was great Kids loved the pepperoni We got 24 wings as well and the siracha ranch and Parmesan ones were amazing This is a perfect place to grab some pizza and beers near the beach

TL;DR: underrated slice of za with good drink deals tooStopped by for a quick slice and was pleasantly surprised by the finished qualityThe one caveat was we had an unexpectedly long wait and when I went in to check on the order (~20min later), the kitchen had obviously forgotten our slices in the oven. Smoke came out of the oven when he opened it and the bottom was pretty burnt. He still served it to us and after we took a bite, we brought it back and asked for a new sliceThe staff happily obliged and the new one was much better :)I'll be back whenever I'm in the area - cheers, Dough Momma!

They had a private event here so it was a bit unorganized and crowded. There were random people standing around inside the small space and none of the workers greeted us. Maybe they were overwhelmed by a lot of people. Once we did order, they did let us know there was a private event and the inside was closed which was fine so we sat outdoors. We were only able to order whatever slices were out on display for them to warm up like Sbarro.We ordered 2 of the walk-in special which includes 2 slices of pizza and a beer for $14. So in all we ordered 2 loaded combo slices, 1 margherita slice, 2 spicy Hawaiians, 3 for $5 garlic knots, and the 8 piece spicy teriyaki wings. The wings were sweet and good but no spice. The garlic knots came with marinara sauce which were really good. We tried the spicy Hawaiian and loaded combo slices and all were really good thin crust slices.Location is right next to the beach so it's convenient to be able to grab a bite. Parking is really tough though.

Really good wing deals and prices! The wings came out HOT! Only con Jo that it's a long wait for food especially since they're very busy at all times. I think we waited about 45 minutes for our wings. They also serve pizza, which looked pretty good!

Was in the area as there was a bioluminescence sighting in the area. I was craving something light and thankfully they had this dope pizza join in the area.AMBIANCE:Parking: Street and neighborhood parking.Seating: Inside and outside shaded patio seating. Great for groups or individuals. Room for about 50 people total.Vibes: Welcome to La Jolla, a pretty fancy college town area. You're close to the beach with nice eatery, shopping, and activity spots. The spot gives a sporty dive bar. There are tvs to watch shows but mainly games but you moreover here the alternative rock music playing. Great for everyone - friends and family. FOOD:Meat Lovers (Recommend)For those that love your protein, this is for you. What's not to love - Pepperoni, Bacon, and crumbled sausage! Gooey cheese and the bread was fresh and crispy.CUSTOMER SERVICE:Kevin was great! Friendly dude and quick with our service!TL; DR OVERALL:4.5 Stars! Deeelicious. Reasonable prices, great selections and good food. There may be a couple of pizza spots here but this is well rounded especially you just want a place to hang out and chill.TIPS:* Check out their daily specials!

If you're just looking for a quick slice of pizza after chilling at the beach, I would definitely say this spot is a good choice. Prices were pretty fair and the pizza came out pretty fast considering how busy it was when I was there. Pretty chill vibe.

Just finished kayaking. This place was next door...and I love pizza! Gave it a shot! Pizza was crispy and delicious. They have good specials, beach seating, slices? Beers, yesssssss!!!! Great for after a good kayaking experience!

Came here due to Yelp Elite event I got selected for a free slice and a drink and decided to take my family here too so they can try it out. Overall, great pizza joint near La Jolla Shores beach. The parking here is busy when it's a summer weekend so can also plan a visit during the week to avoid it being too crowded but it is La Jolla after all. Service was great! I liked that they heat up the pizza slices in the oven a bit before serving to you for dine in. There wasn't too much seating since it's a small cozy place but was very clean and restroom was clean too so I enjoyed it here. This is not a neighborhood that's close to where I love but has all the good spots and restaurants so if you're looking for pizza slices in La Jolla Shores area, come check this place out! :)

Had a great experience here with the staff and food. Pizzas are thin, crispy, and flavorful. Very inclusive with customers who just came from the beach by having outside seating which was a plus for my partner and I! :) Unfortunately, a group of people came here and started bringing in food from other establishments and refusing to leave when the staff asked, causing conflict-- which the owner resolved quickly so there was no huge disturbance to the remaining customers outside.

First thing I realized when coming in was the glorious smell of wood fired pizza. The place was cozy and not too busy around 7PM. We got to enjoy the sunset as we ate outside with our dog. The patio had some pretty long picnic tables. $11~ for two slices. They're good in size, crunchy, thin, have that woody flavor to them, and overall just a goodpizza slice. I ate outside as I had my dog with me but the inside looked so cozy and cute. I loved the vibes of this place and will be returning when I come to the beach! Honestly this place makes you feel nostalgic. Eating outside and watching the sunset I could imagine coming on a sunny day to the beach and heading here to end the day for this warm slice of pizza. Loved it.
