Double DD Meats

The store is truly overwhelming. You can spend hours just browsing the sauce section. They have the best Cajun and Creole products in the general area, maybe all of Northern Seattle. I brought alligator and fried it up, and it was absolutely delicious and fresh. They actually have muffluetta mix, boudin, and frog legs! Definitely check out their meat pacts for the most bang for your buck. Buying the $129 choice pact lasted my small family several months, and we were extremely impressed with the quality, fat was trimmed, but they left fat in adequate places like for steaks which is ideal and my preference. The reason why I only gave them four stars is the service... The store is very popular, their hours aren't conventional, but the refusal to use a numbering system is confusing. Like why not? Does the owner enjoy the chaos and confusion? Is that part of their "stitch"? They don't want any customers who can't ignore the mayhem? Also, some of their employees can act somewhat odd. I don't know how to explain it, but when I'm trying to browse and the same employee asks if I need any help. She does it in a way that suggests a "hurry up your trip and buy!" manner and I can't help but feel annoyed. Something else to consider that repeat customers know the price, you don't have to repeat the price like it's too expensive for me.

Very busy and packed with spices and sauces like no tomorrow. Jerky smoked meats fresh cuts specialty parts etc.

I love them here! I usually order over the phone & pickup same day which is very convenient if you have small children! Prices are comparable to grocery store right now and obviously, you can't beat the quality. Everyone I've talked to is knowledgeable and frequently help me make up my mind about which cuts of meat will be best with whatever meal I'm preparing. I will willingly continue supporting this amazing local (and women owned) business!! Xoxo

I came in this morning for some specific hot sauces. To say my cup runneth over would be an understatement. Double DD Meats has excellent selection, meats and staff. It is so much fun to come and look at all the hot sauces, and they keep a good inventory. There was only one hot sauce out of my list of 5 that they did not have in stock, and I was able to find out about its status within 5 minutes. I can't wait to come back because my hot sauce haul isn't exactly going to be lasting long. This is a hot sauce lover's heaven. Today I got hot sauces from California and even one from Africa! It was so hard to leave because there are so many things to try! Shout out to the staff-they were all really nice and helpful. They knew where exact sauces were!

Never a bad experience here. All the employees are friendly and everything is delicious. Picked up some boneless chuck for a crockpot stew because it's starting to get a little chilly around here to be barbecuing all the time!(I put the rub on it before I took the pic)

I've been going here for many years. They provide a wide variety of high quality meats at an affordable price. There staff is always on extremely helpful.

Absolutely love coming here. So many options to choose from and relatively affordable; prices aren't more than grocery stores, and the quality and options are so good. We love getting the galbi and ribs. There's also tons of dry rubs, hot sauces, sides, etc, as well as cute and funny kitchen accessories. You don't have to be into meat or grilling to enjoy this store, it's fun to just browse and meander in the store, great and fun shopping experience. Staff are also really nice and nonjudgmental. Even if you don't know a lot about the different types of meat, they are happy to answer questions and they make it accessible to everyone.

This place doesn't mess around. The meats are top quality and most often more affordable than what you'll find at the grocery. The sliced sandwich meats are always great and there is an impressive selection. The pepperoni sticks (done in-house) are as good as you'll find. I've gotten a lot of pepperoni sticks around the area and beyond. Some are greasy and virtually inedible... but the ones at Double D are our favorites. Anything else we've gotten anywhere has have usually been disappointing. Not these! Then for steaks and pork cuts of any kind... this is the place to go! The sausage selection is huge... and you can NOT go wrong with (my favorites) the Andouilles, the Double Smoked, the Cajuns, or the Landjaegers.The service is very quick considering how busy they can be. They have a great crew of servers just bustling away to look after their customers. Great, great place!

Friendly, helpful staff all with a positive/upbeat attitude. I've been a customer for over 40 years because the quality of their meat is the best I've ever had---and I was raised on Oklahoma cattle ranches. Don't be intimidated by the crowds/lines; they work very quickly and you won't have to wait long. if you've never been there, give yourself some time the first time you go. There's a LOT to see besides meat!Fun tidbit: I've lived through this place being torched by arsonists twice. Although it was frightening, I must say, those were the best fires I've ever smelled.

Amazing Place. I came in yesterday for a few steaks and was immediately asked if I needed help. The customer service is amazing and the food to my knowledge is fresh. I was helped by a person named Isaiah I believe. He was very knowledge and offered so much help. Everyone is so light hearted even when it's busy! Definitely will be coming back!
