Nestled in the quaint town of Snohomish, Double Barrel is the perfect spot for both an upscale date night or a casual night of comforting Italian food! The vibes are rustic and romantic, and you can't go wrong here. We ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo and it was so good that my camera didn't even get a chance to eat first. Perfect portion size and as an SF resident, I'm picky about my Italian food but Double Barrel really knocked it out of the park. The best part about this restaurant is the owners - Lionel and Ana are attentive, quick to serve, and make you feel right at home. I came right around closing and they were able to seat me & serve me extremely quickly. What happened after was even more heartwarming - the restaurant kitchen had closed but the entrance was still open and another couple walked by to see if they could be seated. Even though they were closed, Lionel & Ana went out of their way to serve them and Lionel even made another batch of pasta just for them. They truly do care about their community and it's incredible to see business owners treating customers like family. All in all, highly recommend Double Barrel if you're visiting Seattle or Snohomish!

We tried Double Barrel for the first time on Saturday. Had a reservation and seated right away. We were a party of four.Ordered our drinks and 3 apps.Dates wrapped in Bacon, Coconut Prawns & roasted Brussel sprouts. All was fresh, local and tasty. We selected, Spaghetti Puttanesca, Salmon Picatta, Lasagna Bolognese & Chicken Marsala.Everyone enjoyed their meal. The lasagna eater wished the portion was a bit bigger and that bread had been served on the table.Fresh tasting food and the waitress was was friendly, helpful & efficient. We will certainly be back.Very nice ambiance as well...

A perfect date night! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked, perfect portion size and the ambiance was stellar. We split 2 wine flights which were so pretty and the wines were mellow, you could actually experience the flavors and differences without being bombarded by them. The owners came out to check on us and they were absolutely lovely people, friendly and vivacious, and we even exchanged gardening tips :)We would recommend this establishment to anyone looking for great food, great wine, with an upscale home town vibe. We will definitely be back!

Brought friends here this weekend as in the past, this had been a great place with fantastic food along with an exceptional wine list. The ambiance is unchanged and service was fine but the menu and our meals were quite a fall from grace. The menu has been reduced by more than half for dinner selections. The chicken marsala was bland served with flavorless spaghetti noodles...the pesto dish ordered by my friend also unremarkable...she felt like the sauce came from a jar. The wine pairing suggested by staff completely overwhelmed the meals. Won't be back. So sad! We used to love this place.

Hosted my wedding's pre-welcome party here and it was perfect! It's a small business and the owner and his wife did a great job attending to our guests and the party! Everyone of my guests had a great experience and I got a lot of happy reviews about the food and the place. It was a prefect size to allow everyone to walk around and socialize, drink lots of wine, and eat hors d'oeuvres. Probably had 60 people come to the party. I didn't take any photos of the actual food besides the dessert- but all yummy!

Quick Answer: GO HERE! Longer Answer: GO HERE, and here is why: You know those places where you walk in, and you are instantly made to feel welcome? This is that kind of place. Anna and Lionel treat every client as a welcomed guest. The food, by the by, is AMAZING! And when I say that, I don't just mean by "Snohomish" standards. This is great food! I dare you to go to Bellevue or Seattle and get better! They have been in the restaurant industry for quite a while and it shows. They understand quality, presentation, and service. I know, in this "post-COVID" world, we almost forget what it is like to be treated so well; go here; you will love it. And you are welcome; just save us a seat! Snohomish is so blessed to have such a great place to enjoy!

Laurie and I celebrated our anniversary with a first time dining at The Double Barrel. Not even a single regret! It exceeded our expectations at every turn. The wonderful staff made us feel welcome from our greeting to our departure. The owner stopped by and chatted as well. The wines suggested by Rebecca were excellent and every dish was cooked to perfection. Sadly the Creme' Brulee did not survive long enough to grab a picture. We're coming back with more family to share this wonderful place.

Beautiful ambiance and a great selection of wine. But the food was quite underwhelming. We had the coconut prawns, which weren't bad.For the main course, we had the Piccata with Salmon and the Hungarian Beef Stroganoff. The salmon was extremely salty and topped with a ton of salted capers. Wrong on many levels. The spaghetti, on the other hand, had no flavor at all.The stroganoff seemed to be overcooked with very chewy beef pieces. All in all, go there for the wine and ditch the overpriced food.

Nice ambience but staff seldom seen. The place had one other customer and we had to wait and look for staff. Finally seated with menu and water and drinks and food took forever. Very few check ins about food and drinks. Had to hunt down staff to receive the check. (Only people in the restaurant at this point). Pricey and all who ordered steaks received med well done (wasn't the request). Food ok but took a long time to serve. Not impressed with inattentive staff
