This place is great! From just the friendly service and the atmosphere of the restaurant full of lights and bar vibes, I imagine this would be a great place to have dinner with friends or grab some late night eats & drinks. All of their food seems to give a lot of meat, which I very much appreciate, and the prices are not "break-the-bank" for what you do get. The birria tacos were indeed the best item we got, with warm and toasty tacos and flavorful yet not overpowering consommé. Even the rice tasted really good on its own. The bowl was also good too and had a lot of toppings. Our only gripe was that the al pastor was a little dry, and even the wet toppings in the bowl weren't enough to balance out the pork's dryness.

The street tacos we had were just ok. Though the one I had was poblano pepper, it tasted like a bland and over cooked bell pepper. My partner had the chicken and then the beef and he said they were "eh". Seems like a good spot for quick and affordable food but didn't really impress us much. The vegetarian options are limited to peppers, so I probably wouldn't return on my own. They servers behind the counter were fine and the ambiance was similar to a more upscale fast food place.

I'm afraid I don't have a photo of my burrito because I was hangry, had to eat it immediately.I love Chamucos, they have consistently delicious Mexican food with good portions & lovely service. The restaurant is open, colorful and inviting, always very clean. Our go-to Mexican joint.

Came here based off all the good reviews. The street tacos did not disappoint. The chips were good but the guacamole was not my jam. They had a decent selection of margaritas and beer available. Service was very friendly and there was plenty of seating available.

Good taste, gives you a variety of food options different from other average Tex Mex Mexican. Long waiting time

Review based on *Pick up Order*Birria Tacos - I like the tacos. However, didn't like the consommé. Al Pastor Burrito was dry and meh. Maybe dine in would have been better? I guess I wouldn't know anymore

We had this place twice in one day! The employee who helped us was super friendly and remembered us when we came back after a concert we attended. The place open until 2am, so it was the perfect stop after our concert. The food was great, and the cheapest thing around the area to eat. I will definitely stop here again if I am in the area.

It's kind of a recurring thing I hear, and that is that there is no good Mexican or Tex-Mex food in Seattle. I don't know if it's just me, but that just isn't true, and it's not true for here at Dos Chamucos Taqueria.Stopped in here with my buddy (who also gave a warm Yelp review here) for some Tacos. The young man at the counter was very nice and explained some of the menu items to me. Also, even though I didn't spring for a drink, he immediately handed me a cup for water, so great service there. He even upsold me on the Beef Birria tacos. Runs about $12 for 2, but worth it! I got an order of theses with some standard tacos at $2 a piece. The Birria tacos were so packed, so beefy, and so good! It comes with a little bit of rice, sour cream and a dipping broth that's nice and hot.My Al Pastor taco, though small, was packed with flavor, so definitely recommend that as a protein choice. Right on the corner in Queen Anne so it's hard to miss, maybe also hard to park if you're coming by car, but don't think just because it's out in the open, this place is commercial. The foods great here.

Today I was going with a friend to the gem show which is two blocks from Mercer 301 Mercer St. and we saw this restaurant we decided to take a chance and I'm gonna tell you that is the best best Mexican food I have ever eaten, we had to tell the chef to come out and introduce himself because we could not believe the quality of the food It was so delicious and there was no after effect.Service is excellent Atmosphere is very pleasant very well decorated The only bad thing about this restaurant is that I live so far away I live in Bellevue and it would be so difficult to come down there for lunch with all the traffic but if you live in Capitol Hill or downtown or Belltown, I would definitely definitely go have lunch or dinner

Beef Birria Tacos: There was plenty of meat in the tacos. The consomé and rice were pretty tasty as well. There is a lot of indoor seating available. After your meal, you bus your own plates.
