I took my Family to Dons for Turkey dinner !.I didn't want to cook for the kids and I . I wanted to post My Brother and I had the Thanksgiving Turkey dinner . The kids both had pancakes with sausage. I wanted to give a shout out to Dons Restaurant food Thanksgiving Turkey dinner was yummy and service was awesome!. I recommend Dons restaurant for Christmas dinner I hear there having prime rib see you there!!..

I ordered the hamburger steak dinner and they totally messed that up. It didn't have the gravy, mushrooms or onions. Inside was just mashed potatoes and the steak burger... And they forgot my pilaf rice.My 10oz new York steak is smaller and thinner than before and isn't as tasty like the last time.

Was heading back to Seattle after seeing a punk rock show up on Whidbey Island. Googled for a 24 Hour Pl. and discovered Don's. What a pleasure! My girlfriend had the French toast which was yummy especially midnight. I got the fish platter which was OK. But the main point is our waiter was the son of the owner who's cash this out. This place has been around for 50 years and I can see why. I'll be back next time. I'm up to the Marysville outlet.

definitely got food poisoning from this place portion sizes were good and service was good but the food was either undercooked or idk but i've been throwing up and nauseous.

I was driving home from Seattle early in the morning and discovered this diner looking for a 24h restaurant that wasn't McD's. I wanted to be cautious walking into a diner in a new town at 5 am, but the staff here was welcoming and I got a good vibe from the small handful of fellow early-morning patrons. They made some decaf coffee for me (free refills) and I ordered the French toast. Very eggy French toast but that's a good thing to me! Thick and fluffy slices of bread. It was plain and simple but exceeded expectations and hit the spot. Affordable prices as you'd hope for at a diner.Note that they have a check-in deal listed on Yelp but this seems to be outdated - I brought it up to my waitress and she said she'd only heard it mentioned once, years ago, and didn't know how to apply it even then. Fine with me though since I wasn't counting on it.

I wasn't even going to touch that.... it looks like previous customers might have dripped a bit on the cap AND the label and then it seeped all around the cap and congealed with whatever else in the restaurant, for a few months, and left a growing ring around the cap. SEE the pictures...Then the bill... holy crap!!! $45 for two (2) Chicken Fried steaks and ONE Sprite in a 1970's coca cola cup made of plastic ($3.59) The refill i asked for... you guessed it... another $3.59....WTH?? Refills are usually free EVERYWHERE in the United States! (but not here) SEE THE PICTURESSorry Don's.... There are MANY more upscale restaurants in Marysville that charge FAR less with BETTER FOOD that and MUCH CLEANER ...

The food before Covid was homemade and amazing. Now it's packaged, the meatloaf was horrible and not real meat! The potatoes were disgusting! I've been going here for years and last year I had to stop bc I was told they stopped all homemade food! We tried different things but all horrible. Service is always good but I refuse to pay $15 for frozen meatloaf that I can by stouffer's, and get better. I will not settle for ok. Breakfast is ok...lunch and dinner yuck .

Food was terrible in quality and then somehow cooked to be worse? The "hollandaise" sauce looked like melted cheese vomit. Everything was undercooked no matter how we requested it, even the hash browns still had a raw potato texture. The menu had a greasy film coating it and the each service person had the attitude that we were annoying them with our presence. And we paid way too much for this experience. Don't do it

People be over dramatic as hell with the cleanliness of the place, it's never outrageous it's pretty well kept. There's usually one person there taking orders but there always really welcoming and do their best (deadass really great severs if they were grumpy to you idk man maybe it's what your doing). Dons is a diner you go to when your hungover and munch down.
