As good as the other reviews have said. We were in the Humble area yesterday, and this restaurant came up as a suggestion. I like other South American food, so we said "Let's go."I had the shredded beef with rice and black beans, which came with a fried arepa and plantains. Everything was so good! I also had a bite of my mate's Cuban sandwich, which I think I will have next time. The owners are friendly and welcome, even to gringos who aren't sure what they want to eat. Try this place out immediately, and put it on your list of repeat shops.

We the Reina pepiada arepa, a plate with fried rice, pork, beans and plantains, food was delicious. Good and friendly service, small, clean and nice place to eat. We definitely come back and try something different.

They have a great variety of Venezuelan and Mexican food. The arepas were the best I've ever had. They also have four sauces they bring to the table.

Great Home cooked Venezuelan food. Pollo asado falls off the bone. Their cachapas with cheese accompanied by fried pork chunks are great! Their hallacas truly have a great flavor! Try it all! They really look after their customers and are always willing to explain menu items to guests that may not know about certain dishes. It has a cafeteria vibe always with people stopping in on their work lunch break or in the mornings to get some pasteles or empanadas.

This place is a local gem!! If you want authentic Venezuela food you have to come eat here, feels like you are eating at home. The owners are so friendly. The arepas are so tasty and delicious. Get them fried, adds a level of crunch to all this goodness. The pollo asado.. is a must have as well. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.

Delicious food & very affordable. No ambience but friendly staff make up for it. The patacones were really tasty & shredded pork was so juicy.

We eat here at least once a month. Being foodies, we love flavor and this place has lots of flavors. The owner is always there with a smile and good foods for his customers. The wait staff is the consistent crew so that speaks volumes. While the ambiance is not fancy or large, it is clean, cosy, and family friendly. If you love flavors, give Dona Maria a try.

my first time visiting this site. They ordered 2 arepas, shredded meat and pavilion. The taste is good, but I can't. The very small stalls had almost no meat as you could see in the photo. It should be nicer with the filling. It is not a Venezuelan custom for an arepa to come with so little filling. I hope they manage to improve.
