Dollop Coffee

I love Dollop's branding and aesthetic! It's a cute little coffee shop near the office I wanted to give a try. They had a great variety of drinks on their menu, including a matcha option! The food menu is limited to an assortment of baked items and bagels. My basic order at any new coffee shop is an iced caramel latte (light ice). For $8 I did not think the latte was particularly good (and definitely not sweet enough if that's important to you - it is to me so I probably won't be returning). The packaging was also not great. The top and straw broke fairly quickly for me. In terms of service, I could tell that the barista put great care in making the coffee!

We came here Saturday morning for some coffee and it did not disappoint. I ordered the s'mores latte which was delicious and the rest of the group ordered the snickerdoodle latte which was also tasty but not too sweet. The shop is small but we were able to find a table right in the middle for our group of four.

I've come here maybe once or twice a year since they opened, hoping to have a better coffee each time, but unfortunately, I just left unimpressed. On my last visit, I tried the chai latte, and it came out super fast, so I'm curious if they just pour it out of a premade mix. IMO, there are just better coffee options around.

This place is fine if you are grabbing something quick. The espresso wasn't especially good so if you get lattes or something sugary, this pace is fine. Beats going to a Starbucks.

My favorite place to grab an Americano from, maybe I'm just addicted? But I swear Dollop makes the perfect iced americano. Also big props to the breakfast sandwich, the spicy mayo on the hot biscuit is so perfect. Servers are always nice and friendly, and can get really busy sometimes since it's a small location.

Cute coffee shop in the Loop! I stopped by here during my lunch break for a caffeinated treat. I got an iced matcha oat milk latte, which had a nice matcha flavor and was not bitter in the slightest. It was unsweetened though, so keep that in mind if you prefer your drinks with a little more sugar. Overall, a decent experience and would come again.

Yes, this Southern girl in Chicago does expect biscuits on a menu to be good. Why have so many options if they are not? The biscuit was slightly over cooked and then reheated in the microwave which created a weird chewy texture. The cheese was dripping off and I'm pretty sure it was Smuckers strawberry jam. No offense Smuckers, but you have no business being on a $7 biscuit in a city with this much good food. They also served all biscuits in a compostable clamshell even for those eating in and do not offer recycling. Pass on the biscuit. The latte was good but nothing earth shattering.

Love the vibes here!! Izzy is usually my barista and she is above and beyond. So funny and personal and always gets my order right! The coffee is high quality and the sauce on the breakfast sandwiches is to die for. A lot of the packaged food is great too-- highly recommend the nori!

Very eye pleasing ambiance. The barista was helpful and provided good customer service. I'm not a fan of coffee, but it's rather cold outside and this is actually pretty good. Better than McDonalds. Bang for your buck fo sho.

Their cinnamon chai latte is pretty good! And the server was really nice and helped us pick our drinks since it was our first time. Very calm and friendly ambiance. 7.5/10
