Dolci Cafe Italiano

Food is too-shelf. Ambiance is surprisingly good. BUT: the Service is standout. Friendly, neighborly and educated server. I'll call him Tony-Rockstar. He has provided guidance on both visits. I've had the Sea Bass and Shrimp Pesto Pasta. Both dishes superior. Great value for this level of quality.

We ordered to go, but it did take me 5 phone calls to get through. I almost gave up! Glad I didn't. We ordered the meat ravioli (soooo good), Alfredo -rich and delicious, and the dolce pizza!!! We really enjoyed all of it and especially the ravioli. We would return, 4 stars due to not being able to reach them and also, slightly pricey. 3 dishes about $55.

Moving to Spring Valley makes Dolci one of my go-to spots when I can't make up my mind for brunch, linner, or actual late dinner. Staff is friendly and the menu has lots of choices for even for picky eaters. The best part... plenty of free parking!

Went today for a dinner date, it was our first time. Very attentive waiters specially Bella super sweet and on the top of everything we need, explained Chef Special with details. Food was super good an authentic Italian food, super tasty since appetizer to entree. I'll be back again for sure.

Tony was a great waiter! He recommended the branzino fish with vegetables and it was great. The grandkids liked their Mac and cheese and meat ravioli. My wife had the lobster ravioli that was awesome. We ate rather late so no crowded restaurant. The branzino was pricey at 55.00 but worth every bite. They also served bread and oil and vinegar dip. Quite good!

First time here and absolutely loved it . Food was delicious and really good size portions. Tony was our waiter and he was amazing, very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.

Toni greeted us and sat us down. We were so surprised that they had a wide variety of gluten free options. My husband had a lasagna and I had a fantastic gluten free pizza. Desert was beyond great and the service was five star starting from beginning to end. We will be back

The five stars is mostly for the service, particularly Bella, Tony, and Claudia. Bella is super knowledgeable, Tony and Claudia are so friendly and attentive!The braised short rib pasta was really good, just a tad too salty. The calamari was cooked really well, good crunch with tender squid. The carpaccio was a bit plain. The bruschetta was really good - the pesto elevates it to another level.The ambience was great, it was like some unspoken agreement for all patrons to actually be present, and have conversations, instead of being on their phones. Great experience!

The food was amazing. The portion sizes were shareable. We had so much food left over I took some to work the next day and it tasted as if I ordered at the restaurant.I've heard nothing but great things about this place and I finally tired it after my Swiss friend insisted I try it. This is a nice date night spot in East County. Bella our server was very sweet and patient in explain the menu. We tried some of her recommendation and they were all delicious. Peter the hostess greeted us immediately. He even let us choose where we wanted to sit and brought water out immediately. The ambiance is exactly what you would expect from an Italian restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place for Italian food. I will be returning to try other items on their menu.
