Very small restaurant, but not too busy on a Friday morning. Can't imagine how it gets on the weekends. But food and service were great!! Except for the girl not bringing my friend the coffee that he ordered. But I understand they were short staffed. They were very friendly and the food and drinks were good, therefore it wasn't a biggie. She was taking care of all the tables and you can tell she really did try to stay on top of everything. My cucumber chia lemonade was delicious, my kids really enjoyed their food as well. Definitely will be back when I'm in town again.

A little hole in the wall, hidden from the main street. We found this hidden little place that was cute and pretty good. Food was good and excellent service excellent. If you want some Mexican style with some stylish flair, this is a place to come. The menu had has authentic style Mexican favorites such as Café dela Hoya & huevos rancheros to French style crepes. Definitely will come back.

First time trying this place. Came in around 9:30am on a Friday morning and it was already quite busy. I ordered the divorced chilaquiles and added some chicken. The plate came with two eggs and beans. I also ordered a mazapán crepe and a caramel latte to wash it all down. I was highly satisfied with my breakfast. The waitress took out drink order very quickly and before we knew it our meal was out too! The place is fairly small and because the food is great it can get very busy and cause a wait time. There's also very limited parking so you might have to find street parking but other than that I was very happy with my order and will definitely be back to try more off their drink menu!

There's a couple of pages missing, but I could only add a total of 10 for my review! This place used to be on Third Ave, still in Chula Vista, at a much smaller location. I've been wanting to try their new place. It's a lot bigger than the last location they were at. Parking is very very minimal, so be aware of that when coming in. If you come during peak time, they run out of seats very quickly because of how small they are. They have tons of options for food and drinks! So many to choose from. I was here just a couple of days ago. I ordered the carne asada breakfast. It's was really good. And I was surprised at how big their horchata was! I couldn't even finish it. The prices are very reasonable with the portions they give. I did speak with the owner and other workers because I remembered them. They said they're hoping to find a bigger location in Chula Vista with better parking too. Because they share the parking lot with other tenants in the building including the liquor store. The employees including the owner are so sweet! They speak primarily Spanish here, but I did not feel out of place or unwelcome just because I didn't speak Spanish.

I was in need of a coffee for me and a snack for my little; when I saw cafe in the name of this establishment I wrongfully assumed that this was just a little local coffee spot. Guys, this place is a straight up treasure. Maybe it was the time of day, but it was fairly quiet and unassuming. Walking into the cafe transports you; you can tell a lot of effort and consideration was made in curating a beautiful and unique environment. Their menu was enormous; I wish we had been hungrier. We ordered a large iced coffee and a conchita; they only had jumbo sized coffee, peculiarly, so I upsized to one of those because the need for caffeine is real ---- I don't know what kind of magic their barista did but my iced coffee was amazing. I was super impressed. My little one inhaled his pan dulce too; while a little crumbly on top (as it should be), the bread was sweet, soft, and tasted fresh. We will be back, with more of us, when we are hungrier.

My friends, Irene and and I checked out the Dolche Cafe on 1096 Broadway, Chula Vista. The Birria fries and Lavender Iced Coffee was so delicious!! The decor was really festive and cute for brunch with the girls. The team was so welcoming and the food came out really fast! I would recommend visiting this location!

Been here a few times already. Service has been awesome. Each time I tried something new and everything has been pretty tasty so far! It's also a super cute place! It's a IYKYK kinda spot! The reason for the 3 stars is the service I received during my last visit. The woman who served my daughter and I did the following things: 1) When our table was ready, she mumbled something to us as she walked passed us. She came back a minute later and said, "your table is ready,It's on the left". - She did not walk us back, she did not seat us, she did not provide us menus. After about 5 mins, a young girl approached and asked if we knew what we wanted to drink and when she realized the other woman didn't give us menus or anything, she embarrassing made a face and quickly brought us menus and silverware. 2) My daughter ordered the French toast; once our food was served, we noticed the cute little syrup bottle was empty, so naturally we asked for syrup. My daughter got down to her final French toast and the woman brought us what you see in the photo. 2 dirty old looking syrup cups! So you mean to tell me that the restaurant ran out of syrup? Or, you couldn't grab one from an empty table? 3) I ordered the cafe de olla; the woman walked along the table sides refilling coffee cups and saying to those customers, "cafe de olla?" - she looks back at me and walks back toward the kitchen. The most embarrassing part is when your child sees their parent being treated different from the other patrons and whispers to you "is it because you're black?" And FYI my daughter is half Mexican - so it wasn't about race for us - but it clearly was for the woman who served us. Microaggression is an ugly business.
