I ordered the Seattle Dog, which was basically cream cheese and caramelized vegetables. It was good but messy! They do have condiments where you can put ketchup, mustard, and other sauces. If you pay with a credit card, I think they charge extra because the total price charged was different than the actual price mentioned. I wish they had told us though, but just be aware if you pay via credit card, you may be charged extra ~30 cents or so. Tip(s):- They may charge extra for credit cards (~$0.30 extra)- They have condiments section

A good dog - nothing incredible about it, just good. A little pricy, but I get that it is in a tourist area.

What a pleasant surprise of a place!! We were passing by and wanted a snack/late lunch. The menu isn't long but it had everything you needed. You go up to the one man stand and place your order. He remembered everyone's order easily. He was quick to make your meal with your specifications. The Seattle dog is the best one I've had in the city so far. The perfect amount of cream cheese with delicious grilled veggies (cabbage, bell pepper, and onion). The hot dog itself was perfectly salty and beefy. The Mediterranean dog was refreshing with the brighter, cold ingredients. We got the two hot dogs cut in half so we could share them easier. Though it's just a good stand in City Center, there's enough seating around midday and plenty of condiments to add to your liking. I'd highly recommend this stand to anyone in the park!

Just wanted a quick snack before dinner so we split a Veggie Chipotle Dog ($8) between friends. It's basically a Seattle Dog with a veggie dog instead of the regular hot dog, so we still basically got to experience the Seattle dog. There was basically one guy taking orders and another guy making them so by the time we finished paying they were already handing our dog over to us. The dog itself was pretty good! Personally I'm not a big fan of cream cheese, but it did add a sort of sweetness to it, which balances out the spiciness in the veggie chipotle dog. They had a very wide assortment of condiments on the side of the stand that you could add yourself. I added my usual topping preferences (ketchup, mustard, relish, onions) and it definitely added more flavor to it. What was a bit off putting though is that some of the condiments that probably should be refrigerated (like the mayonnaise) were sitting out in the hot summer sun all day. I think it's a bit steep for $8 a dog for basically 2 toppings since the roasted veggies are all in one pan. Other than that though I'm glad I got to try a Seattle dog for my visit to Seattle. Definitely a touristy thing.

Located near the Space Needle around the Seattle Center. I walk around a few times and I know it's a tourist trap but I'm okay with it. It can get busy but the service is fast. I had to try the Seattle dog, glad they had a veggie dog option! The Seattle dog has cream cheese, grilled carmelized veggies and the hot dog on a toasted bun. I think they had more than the standard condiments available (ketchup, mustard, Mayo, relish, jalapeños, Valentina, onion, I think sauerkraut too?, can't remember, lol) but you can tell they just want the customer to be happy with all those options of condiments , lol.I grabbed a seat at a picnic table nearby and loved the Seattle dog. It was hot, toasty and filling! I love cream cheese so I really enjoyed this combo of the Seattle dog. I added my own condiments too, ketchup, mustard, onions, relish and jalapeños... yum! Not sure if it's a tourist treat or local favorite, but I sure enjoyed it!

High on the DogThere are as many unique ways to eat a hot dog as there are cities in this country. Some of the more well-known styles would have to be the kitchen sink Chicago Dog made famous by Portillo's, as well as the classic NY-style of serving it up simpley with shot or three of yellow mustard. Here in NorCal, we like bacon-wrapped dogs with avocado, while SoCal lays claim to the loaded foot-long Dodger (Doyer) Dog.But have you ever heard of a Seattle Dog? To be honest, we hadn't until we were doing some research on things to eat whilst visiting Seattle and came across this curiosity. It's essentially a hot dog w/ a cream cheese slathered bun that's topped with grilled caramelized veggies (onions, peppers and cabbage). While many places serve-up their own version of the Seattle Dog, Dog in the Park (DiP) lays claim to actually creating this heavenly concoction of mystery meat, veg and cheese. So, you may find yourself wondering if it's worth trying while visiting the Emerald City™? The simple answer is, hell yes. The made-to-order dogs are delicious, juicy and the right ratio of bun:dog:veg:cheese. My only complaint is that I would've loved some jalapeños in the veggie mix, but that's just the Cali boy in me talking. My other complaint is $8/dog is a bit steep, but these are tourist prices, plus Costco® has really messed up the hot dog market with their $1.50 dogs. So, just relax and cough up the dough--I promise you'll love it. DiP has two convenient locations, with one in Downtown Seattle at Westlake Park, and this one here right below the Space Needle©. Def give this unique dog a try when visiting the PNW. ^__^ (OvO){| |}---"--"---

Surprisingly excellent and most certainly not your average ballpark dog. I'm originally from the Seattle area, so I've loved cream cheese on hot dogs my whole life (if you haven't ever had one, JUST DO IT!!), but this one was especially good. The carmelized veggies were done to perfection, the hot dog was super tasty, the bun was delicious, and the cream cheese adds the best pop of flavor. Such a great little snack outside the Space Needle, MoPOP, and the Chihuly Museum.

Whole reason I came to Seattle (besides the cruise). Lived up to the hype of reading other reviews. Get the Seattle dog, take your space needle photo, enjoy.
