DJ's Caribbean Kitchen

I was craving some Caribbean food after work and decided to give this place a try due to the reviews and my fav Jamaican spot being too far of a drive. It's a small place, with an order window and maybe a table or two to eat. I got the oxtail that comes with rice & peas and also got the macaroni pie & curry chickpea & potato for my two sides. They were out of plantain which crushed me as that is one of the highlights when I order Caribbean food. The oxtail was solid, def not the best I've had but the bones had a decent amount of meat. The rice & peas were ok, I like to taste the coconut milk and it didn't have that flavor. Macaroni pie was ok, doesn't compare to soul food baked Mac n chz, imo. The curry chickpea & potato was good. I would recommend this place since the food is solid, but I myself will just drive to my favorite spot next time I have the craving.

I had the jerk chicken delivered to my hotel and it was amazing. Will definitely have again if I'm back in the area!

Food absolutely amazing season well oxtails juicy, and the greens were surprisingly good as well

10/10DJ's Caribbean Kitchen is delicious!Make sure you visit on a Saturday when the all the "Trini Eatz" are available. Doubles, Pholourie, Bake & Saltfish, and Bake & Herring are only available on Saturdays. The oxtails are perfect, and everything came out fresh and hot. Rice and peas, two sides and plantain are included with each platter. The doubles are soft, pillowy and so good!The order came to $30. There is ample free parking in the outdoor strip mall and DJ's is in the back on the opposite site from the main street.10/10 would recommend :)

I finished with an appointment in the area, needed something to eat and BAM! Sometimes the universe drops a gift in your lap and this was certainly one.DJ's is a modest little place, with friendly service and I got a fantastic meal to-go of a Curry Goat Roti with a side of macaroni pie.It tasted so so so good y'all and the servings were nice and big too. I overate, still had leftovers for the next day and fell in love with those all over again.I would definitely go out of my way to eat this food again.I shall return.

I'm not from Georgia and my first time trying this was so good. Food is seasoned & cooked to perfection & its other meats and sides there . Service was good but you do have to wait maybe 5-10 mins because it's only 1 server but overall this place was delicious .

Oxtails were so good!! Great customer service. We came almost at closing abs they were both very attentive. Great portions, and reasonably priced.

Max and cheese barely had cheese very nasty,the plantains aren't sweet at all! These reviews people have left is CAP they definitely fooled me cause the reviews is what brought me but nope awful ! Oh and the gravy was like real watery like what kind of gravy is that! Only thing that was good was the collard greens & jerk chicken but other then that no siriiiii ! Service was great tho lol ‍

The food was very good. The service was horrible...teen on her phone had poor communication skills. The place was n a sketchy neighborhood and the inside was unorganized and without any seating or waiting area.

Food was some of the most delicious flavor I've had in a while !We ordered the oxtails, rice and pea, plantain & Mac n' cheeseStew chicken, rice and pea, collard greens, & potato with chickpea Jerk chicken, rice and pea, potato & chickpea, candy yam!3 plates for the family and the portion size was the perfect amount for the money spent; would definitely come back!Service was good as well, very respectful gentleman that allowed us to try some greens before purchasing
