DIY Tea Lab - Fremont

Unfortunately, this place is not good and I can't sugarcoat it. A good amount of the reviews are correct. The drink is already sugarcoated enough. The menu they provided at the board is actually just a subset of items, so you will want to check out the kiosk at the store and order from there for their full menu. I got the Ben's Blue Skies with half sugar and half ice, which came out to a little under $7.50 after tax, which is a bit high for a boba drink. The drink itself does look pretty - fresh milk with butterfly pea flower tea, strawberry puree, and mango puree. Mixing it all together, I started drinking. It is definitely NOT 50% sweet as it felt actually like 150% sugar honestly. I said less ice and I saw them fill the drink to the brim with ice like what??? What is the worker up to, doing the exact OPPOSITE of what I requested? The boba texture is also pretty okay - a bit on the mushier side. I almost wanted to call it quits and just toss the whole drink altogether. I think this is probably one of the lowest quality boba places I have tried.

Nice and refreshing for this weather A nice place to get something refreshing near the bus stop by the bridge in Fremont (about 2~3min walk from the bus stop). They also have poke in the same location.

We stopped by DIY Tab Lab on our way to a chocolate tour and an escape room. Convenient location and great selection of items. Order through a screen and pay there as well. I kept wanting to scroll up and down, but it was side to side. I tried their oolong milk tea with grass jelly, and I'd like it to have more tea flavor. It was rather milky for my taste. My friends got some other drinks - one with the pea flower which was really pretty, but it was mostly sparkling water flavor so it sounded like it looked better than it tasted. Another got a pineapple blended drink and that was one good. Other milk teas and fruit teas were tried, but verdict was that it was alright. Perhaps we're too used to the CA boba that we've been having before our Seattle trip? Pretty cool how they also have musubi here as well! Good combo to enjoy with a nice refreshing boba!

Pretty cool spot on our way to gas work park in Fremont. We decided to try this place and get some new drinks. And it was so good. It was the the best one out of the 3 place we went on our trip

Yummm!! Bubble tea & poke! With some musubi. Sounds good to me. This semi-new spot is right in Fremont. You can't miss it as you enter Fremont. Next to the bridge! The park. All the fun stuff. Parking is a little hard but you can find it. The menu here is huge. I went with matcha since I love my caffeine. Mango Matcha Fresh Milk with added mango and boba! It was delicious! Strong! Tasty and all that. They also share the space with Just poke. You can get poke! Make your own poke bowls. Or grab a musubi! I tried the Tempura spam musubi. It was kept warm: not crunchy tempura but still good.But the tea was what you'll come here for. Their menu is huge. And drinks are beautiful and tasty.

I found this boba spot right around the Freemont downtown area! It's connected with a poke place so it's pretty busy in the store. There's enough tables and high chairs around to find a seat though. I decided to order something a little different than my usual. I ordered a white peach oolong fresh milk tea with boba. Unfortunately, I didn't love it. I think it just didn't have enough flavor and the tea wasn't as strong as I hoped. It tasted mostly like milk. I always give boba places another chance so I'd definitely come back to try a different flavor. But for now, it is not my favorite place.

Stopped in at every greens next door for lunch and noticed they had boba next door. Got the signature fruit tea and it was a perfect blend of sweetness

Honestly a little disappointed in the drinks that we got. I ordered the classic jasmine milk tea and my husband got the Signature fruit tea. My drink literally tasted like milk, I didn't taste any tea. The boba was also ok, not really tasty. The Signature fruit tea was wayyy to sweet. We ordered it like 50% sweet but it felt like it was over 100%. I'm not sure if it was just an off day or something but I definitely didn't enjoy these drinks. Ordered via kiosk, inside was fairly spacious. Ample parking on the street but you do have to walk.

First time going there and the food was great! The store was very very clean! Sabrina had excellent customer service and was helpful! Definitely recommend
