Delicious local diner. My party of 6 was seated almost right away on a Sunday around lunch time and our server (forgot to ask his name) was really on it! Our food was excellent, hot and tasted home cooked. The biscuits were fresh and amazing! My 5 year old and 1 year old enjoyed the fresh fruit and oats. Restroom was also very clean and cute! I read the reviews before coming so I kept an open mind and I'm so glad we stopped in. There's lots of parking in the back near the back entrance. It is a little loud but I feel like it was no louder than any other place we have eaten. Friendly neighborhood dining and we enjoyed our meal here. Definitely recommend!

The service was excellent. Seated as soon as we walked in. Our order was taken and served promptly. Answers to Questions about the menu were clear. The food was amazing. The sauce on the eggs Benedict was perfect and it came with potatoes and fresh fruit. In the future, I would ask that they cook the eggs a little more. The cheesecake pancakes were not too sweet. Good OJ. We will be back.

Our second visit. The ambience is odd. It looks like it's not quite done. The food is not impressive. The cinnamon roll French toast was undercooked and had some sort of stale frosting squirted all over it. The Hashbrowns were soaked in grease that did not taste fresh. The scrambled eggs were from a carton I'm sure, and not fresh cracked. The butter is whipped margarine. Nothing tasted fresh or good. The prices are high for sub grade food. That brings me to the service. Our server was nice and efficient. However the hostess who refilled the coffee spilled all over the table and just left it, like it didn't happen. No apology. We had to use all our napkins to clean it up ourselves. But the orange juice was great! Served in a big frosty mug. Nonetheless, we probably won't return.

It's my first time in but my second time eating their food. So far, food is decent, good portions, good flavors. It sucked sitting facing the windows because the sun burned my damn retinas. The wait staff was nice but real snippy. We came in like 1.5 hours before closing so maybe that was a part of it, idk.

I ordered pick up for the Basic Pig breakfast. The meal overall was good, however I feel like their eggs, sausage and potatoes could've had more seasoning. It tasted a bit unseasoned. However, the biscuit was delicious! It tasted homemade and very fresh. I would definitely come back again as the food was good overall and staff were friendly. While I didn't dine in, the restaurant looked clean, had plenty of seating, and easy to get to with parking.

The food here is consistent. My favorite dish is the California Benny. I find that any Benny with bacon is superior to one with ham, but that's my personal preference and I love that they offer that here and I don't have to be that person asking for a substitution. The people here have always been nice. We've eaten in several times, this time we got to go. I love that there is more than one option for what kind of potatoes you want with your dish. It's your typical small town diner, busy and loud when it's packed. If eating in on a weekend, come early or with enough time to wait as the line can get pretty long. Best for smaller groups since there's a decent amount of seating but not very large group friendly.

I ordered Eggs Benedict and the Blue Berry Crepes. The eggs Benedict was ok, I couldn't oder online and have the ham on the side so that was disappointing. However there was plenty of hollandaise sauce. The blue berry crepes has so much cream filling they should've been called cream crepes. There was a splash, like literally 1 ounce of blue berries on them. Idk who made these but they should go to food jail for the crimes they committed on these crepes.

Front door/seating options are unorganized if you aren't familiar or if they are busy. Ordered the California Benedict. The portion was large, eggs overcooked, cold and fruit cup was overripe. Service and coffee were good.

We come here sometimes when we're hungry and don't want to travel far. There are definitely better breakfast places out there. Their food will fill you up but honestly is nothing special. Wish we had a really good breakfast place in this area. Service is usually pretty good it's just too bad the food isn't better

I had a coupon for Dixies from my Entertainment Guide. But the Dixies Manager said the new owner of Dixies won't honor the coupon even though the coupon is current. According to the waitress, the restaurant was sold months ago. I gave Dixies the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe they didn't know they were advertising a coupon they wouldn't honor. But, today, more than a week later, they are still advertising the coupon on the Entertainment Guide website. There is no indication in the restaurant, no sign or anything that they won't honor their coupon. Even though the food was fine we won't go back. It looks like a bait and switch to me.
