District 6 is a true gem in San Diego! The food is always consistently good. This spot used to be where Inchins San Diego was but is now converted into a wonderful gastrobar with fantastic Indian and fusion food.Being vegetarian, I am in awe of the wonderful breadth of options District 6 provides. For appetizers, start with the crispy baby corn or Chinese bhel! Can't go wrong there.Do not miss out on the paneer tikka pizza. Another great dish is the paneer makhani based pasta dish! So good! That's sauce in itself should be bottled and sold! The indo Chinese dishes are so delicious. The paneer 65 fried rice is perfect! The Hakka noodles with the veg coin Manchurian are also great additions.Portions are a great size and perfect for sharing! We love this place as a family. My kids find the hakka noodles perfectly non spiced but flavorful.Seating is plentiful and family friendly. We will continue coming here and giving them our business!

I recently went out for lunch at district 6, tried naan taco with paneer and butter makhani rigatoni.Presentation wise food was looking good but it was too oily and buttery pictures attached, which makes it unhealthy and not eatable. However, restaurant owner didn't charge for the pasta, but I was kind of disappointed because I had very high hopes after looking at the menu.

I recently tried District 6 for the first time, drawn in by their extensive vegetarian options. As a vegetarian and a fan of Indo-Chinese cuisine, I was eager to sample their offerings. I ordered the Veggie Hakka Noodles and Veg Manchurian Gravy. When my order arrived, I was impressed by the presentation. The noodles were cooked to perfection, packed with vegetables, and seasoned well. However, the Veg Manchurian Gravy was a letdown. The oil had an off taste, and the portion size was smaller than expected for the price.Overall, while the noodles were excellent, the Manchurian Gravy needs improvement. I still believe District 6 has potential, especially for noodle dishes, and hope they enhance the quality of their gravies in the future. I look forward to seeing this restaurant improve over time.

Came here for a team dinner on a Monday night, it was easy to get a table for the 5 of us. I love the fusion concept. We started off with the paneer tikka naan tacos. The flavors were amazing and everyone at the table really enjoyed those dish. We also shared some samosas, careful ordering these here they are pretty spicy and they are premade so you can order them no spice. We also tried the Chinese Bhel. Very unique dish with great flavors. Also tried their butter chicken masala and naan. This was delicious. You get a lot of good it's a great value also treat yourself to a non-alcoholic mango mule. You won't be disappointed. The atmosphere here is nice it's very open and they have a juke box. Service is a little bit slow because they have one guy working the entire restaurant, but he was very polite..

District 6 Gastropub and Kitchen in San Diego offers a delightful dining experience with a modern twist on classic dishes. The menu features a variety of flavorful and innovative options, from gourmet burgers to creative small plates. We absolutely loved the Paneer Naan Tacos. The ambiance is stylish and inviting, making it a great spot for both casual outings and special occasions. The craft beer and cocktail selections are impressive, complementing the food perfectly. Friendly and attentive service adds to the overall enjoyable experience. Whether you're a foodie or just looking for a great meal, District 6 Gastropub and Kitchen is a top choice.

I like the food here very much. They have changed the name of this restaurant often, but the food is pretty good always. They removed a few from the menu like pavbaji fondue and malaikofta spaghetti, etc., which I used to like, but still they have many more good food to try. Thier hakka noodles is always consistent, and my kids love it. The space is clean and welcoming, too. I recommend this place for good food and drinks.

Note: Review is on vegetarian items only. Its overall a 3.5. Really slow service, so plan accordingly. We went on a Thursday for team lunch. Mocktails are ok. Have liked the cocktails there in the past though did not try this time.Inchin chinese still the best part of the restaurant. Delicious indo-chinese food and good potion size.

Good to see such fresh places open up which serves good Indian good -especially desi chinese and fusionChicken Tikka Tacos: Good flavours but i think this fusion doesnt really work, the naan is too much bread to eat like a taco. Chicken Hakka noodles and Manchurian gravy: Good combo to get together. Noodles were perfect but the gravy couldve been thicker. Chilli chicken appetizer: Pretty decent but nothing memorable. Chicken tikka pizza: Good desi flavored pizza. I think this alone can be the reason i come to this place.

Walked in here the other night to get dinner with my bestie, not really knowing what I'd find on the menu. But the vibe felt good and the staff was super nice, so we thought we'd give it a try. Well, their menu has a little bit of everything, lots of Indian flavors, and I loooove Indian. My friend ordered the pulled pork sliders and really enjoyed them, while I ordered the pizza! I forgot what it's called, but it has a mashed veggie spread with Indian spices, and it's covered with cheese and veggies and I added chicken to it. The bar tender recommended it to me and I was not at all disappointed. I LOVED that pizza. A little spicy, but in the best way. I will definitely make my way back over here as long as that pizza is still on the menu!
