Discovery Espresso

Was super excited to hit this spot on the way to the park, but regretted it vibes were super weird, the barista was like on the phone the whole time I was ordering ? So I felt super weird existing in his space and then felt even more weird about how much money it cost...with the amount of awesome coffee spots in the city, I will unfortunately not be going back to this one.

I visited this neighborly family-owned coffee shop in Magnolia because of my friend who grew up in the neighborhood. We got latte and a piece of chocolate cookie. If you plan on going for a long walk at the Discovery Park, come here first to grab a nice cup of coffee and have a great chat with the owner. Highly recommended! Will def revisit!

They do not serve juice or smoothies. The place is called Discovery Espresso (not Discovery Espresso and Juice). It would be good if the owner would update the name of the listing. We asked about this, and they claimed they couldn't update it. Not sure what that's about, but lame on either their part or Yelp's. My coffee was great, but my kiddos were very disappointed that there were no smoothies.

Friendly owner and great coffee! He's not open everyday but I try to get in there a few times a week. He remembers the orders of regular customers too.

Shane in the best. Delicious coffee. Amazing wraps. Grab a custom tie dye shirt to go. You simply can't go wrong here. Also very genuinely Family Friendly

Great coffee and very friendly barista/owner. Appreciated that their coffee comes direct from Chiapas Mexico. Definitely worth a top when you are going to Discovery Park.

This coffee shop is located right before the park entrance so we stopped for some drinks and pastries. They had a peach passion fruit scone, haven't seen that anywhere so we had to get it! We gave this pastry to my sister and she loved it! She immediately lit up when she took her first bite and wanted us all to try! My husband and I shared a very tasty cruffin, it was a little gooey on the bottom but sweet and delicious altogether. To drink I ordered a chai latte but sadly wasnt super impressed. It tasted a bit watered down rather than rich, spicy and creamy. My husband loved his vanilla latte though, his had a rich coffee taste with just the right amount of sweetness.

I absolutely love this coffee shop! Consistently great coffee and bakery goods, and the owner is always a pleasure to talk too. Highly recommend!

The beans are special - I doubt anybody else in Seattle use these. I came 20 minutes before opening time on my way to a pre-work stroll through Discovery Park, but the owner offered to make me a drink anyway which made my morning. You can tell every drink made in that shop is made with love :)Americano - A+

Burnt burnt BURNT coffee. We got a cappuccino and a mocha and had to chuck them both out. The barista was nice enough but you've got to calibrate that machine.
