Ding Tea San Marcos

Haven't tried this Ding Tea yet! So close to my house. I usually just get their regular milk tea with boba. They don't have regular brown boba here. I hate that. No cheese foam either. But their milk tea is good. For here, 50% sugar is best. Big space inside to hang out.

I've always enjoyed getting boba from Ding Tea, but my recent experience was far from satisfactory. I placed an order for two drinks through the DoorDash app, and after receiving a text that my order was ready, I went inside to pick it up. However, I was told my drinks weren't ready yet, which was frustrating as I had already received notification that they were.Once the drinks were finally ready, I was handed only one and had to ask for the second one--something that should not have been overlooked. To make matters worse, when I received my Vietnamese iced coffee, it was only filled halfway. When I asked if they could fill it up, I was told that's just how they make it, which was very disappointing. On top of that, I was given the wrong size for my drinks.In summary:- I was notified my order was ready when it wasn't.- One of the drinks was forgotten and had to be asked for.- The Vietnamese iced coffee was filled only halfway.- The drinks were given to me in the wrong size.This was a really disappointing experience, and I hope these issues can be addressed to improve service in the future.

What a difference four miles makes. I've ordered from both Ding Tea in San Marcos and Ding Tea in Vista but we have been using Vista way more. When we went in person to the one in San Marcos (which is only around four miles away) we assumed that we'd be able to order the same things that we've been ordering recently. That was so not the case. Things that we've been getting from Ding Tea Vista that we couldn't here: mango jelly, horchata milk tea, mango chamoy. The problem was that the young lady taking orders was so rude and seemed genuinely annoyed that we were asking for these things. I would never "ding" a place for one rude employee, but the combination of that and not having items we like on the menu was too much. I looked on their website and what the employee said was true. Those choices are missing. I just wish she would have been willing to share that news nicely. We'll stick with Vista.

Ding Tea is a chain, but you will get some quality boba and milk tea. I got the jasmine milk tea. It was good with the golden boba. Parking is a bit difficult. However, the overall experience is that quick and fast boba. Ding tea is solid boba.

This location was very quiet yesterday- Saturday afternoon. There were only two other people waiting for their drinks when we arrived. Despite the store being fairly empty, customer service was bad. My friend and I had some trouble finding a seasonal drink (mulberry tea) in the self service kiosk, and when we went to ask for help, the staff member could not be bothered. They were visibly annoyed that we spoke to them. They just said, "oh, it's on there." They didn't offer to help us find it or offer take our order at the register instead. We kept looking on our own at the self service kiosk and eventually found it. Usually when ordering boba, it's a really quick in and out experience. However, at this location, we waited about 15-20 minutes. The ambiance was quiet here and there was nice natural light. It would be a good location to do some studying. Overall: bad customer service, long wait, satisfactory tea.

The service is super fast and the cashier was nice and helped us pick the type of Boba we wanted. The establishment was clean and bright. The drinks look so aesthetic and the Boba is fresh. I will be coming back here!

Great friendly service. Download app for reward programs. Tried mashed taro 50% sweet which was perfect for me. Bobas were soft and chewy. Drink tasted really good. Like the chunks of taro inside the drink. Will def come back and try other flavors.

Great little spot. Parking right in front. Fast service. Lots of options for drink flavors and toppings!! Definitely gonna be a go to spot for me.

Got a taro milk tea - cant really mess this upHokkaido milk tea - very strong tea flavor but I dig it!! What i liked was their fresh and hot boba.Workers were chill and my drinks came out super quick.The bathrooms were super clean and tidy and also the environment they had good music playing in the background. Will be back!

Stopped at Ding tea for some boba drinks. The location was very clean and inviting. The staff were friendly and the service quick. Our drinks were delicious. Parking was limited but didn't take long to find an open space.
