More like a 2.5This is our first time after the name change. It's not as good as Joy Palace -the previous management. We got seated in the back on a busy Sunday morning. It took a while for the carts to reach us. I asked for forks for the kids. We got some food but still no forks. I eventually got up and helped myself to the to-go plastic utensils. That guy never came back with the forks. I think he forgot altogether. We got beef chow fun. The portion is smaller than before. The egg tart had a bug in it too. Everything else was just meh. The ribs had more fat and bone than meat. The decor is about the same as before they changed hands. The parking is a pain - the parking lot is dirty and lots of glass debris and trash everywhere. The spaces are small too. Lots of smokers by the door and it wafts into the restaurant. The bathroom is dingy and there's no soap. They are short staffed during the busy hours. We had to get our own napkins and take out boxes. They have a few things to work on but we don't go here regularly anymore.

Really great dimsum and Cantonese dishes! I can't imagine how much more packed this place would be if it didn't have such low ratings in Yelp but this place deserves to be seen.I saw their advertisement for $19.99 lobster noodles and had to stop by, esp in this economy hehe. It was delicious btw and I learned all their dimsums were too especially the classic stuff like siu mai, chicken feet, and ha cao. You really can't ask for more so don't listen to the random, almost nonsensical bad reviews on this resto, and give it a try!!!! Also, they're busy and are still trying to do the pushcart thing which I think is admirable lol. Tradition is hard to keep up so cut them some slack and a reminder here or there doesn't hurt either. I ordered 5 large dimsum plates and the lobster e fu noodles and my total was $55, or $65 after tip! A steal!!!!!! Come one, come all!!

New owner. Better service. Delicious foods. Ambiance still the same. Reasonably priced dim sum in the Seattle metro area.

This used to me my favorite dim sum place when it was Joy Palace; my family would frequent here on the weekends and enjoy delicious foods and be greeted by our friendly, and familiar server. After the pandemic, I don't normally eat out anymore, but rather order take out instead. I ordered what I normally did and noticed prices was way more expensive than just a few months ago. Foods tasted different, not quite as good, the foot balls weren't fried crispy enough; still look white, soft and soggy (how do you messed up something that just needed to be fried crispy, golden brown?) The steamed bean curds and pork spareribs also tasted different, spareribs have chunks of fats on most of it, steamed bean curds not enough meats, mostly just tough, chewy bamboo shoots. I guess when the new owner took over, they do away with the old chef. I don't mind paying more for the foods because everything is more expensive now; but I won't compromise on taste. I will find myself another place to get my dim sum fix in the future.

Delicious food nice presentation. We had their most popular beef dish as well as this egg tofu. Crispy on the outside, tender in the inside. Generous portions of tasty food. I recommend this restaurant. Compliments to the chef

We were big fans of Joy Palace, so almost didn't go today because of all the lousy reviews on Yelp. But we did--and it was FANTASTIC! Even better than Joy Palace. Everything impeccably fresh. Some items we'd not encountered before, like a "truffle" mushroom dumpling (of sorts), durian pastries, braised beef tendon, and Portuguese custard tarts. Service couldn't have been more welcoming and charming. We'll be back soon.

Second time we've been here since they changed ownership from Joy Palace. I've actually been coming here since the 90s when they were Saigon Dynasty. All the food is really good. My favorite is the barbecue pork chow mein which was the best I've had probably in the city for as long as I can remember. Picture attached. The dim sum was great. The service was great. Everyone spoke English and the Chinese broccoli is fresh and crispy and really good. Can't really say anything bad about this place. Prices were good too. I'm attaching a receiptRock on and party on my fellow Yelpians. Free love for all. Never forget to tip your waiter.

Honestly the only Cantonese/ Chinese food option in south Seattle. Love the large menu options and really great for large family gatherings! Everything has gotten more expensive over the years so I think their prices and food value is on par! Give them a try!!!

I ordered dim sum to-go and every dish was so good! The food was actually better than Harbor City in the ID! This place deserves a much higher Yelp rating. Please give them a try!
