The dim sum items were made fresh to order and the flavor was amazing. The size of the shrimp dumpling and shumai were bigger than you would get at the other Dim Sum restaurants serving via steam cart. The service was quick and straight to the point. It's a small location, so you can hear the kitchen hustlin' for dine in orders, online and take out orders.I highly recommend the Dim Sum Cafe.

This place is delightful spot for anyone who craves a hearty and satisfying meal. I started with their pork fried rice, which was flavorful and cooked just right. The egg drop soup was a pleasant surprise--packed with a ton of ingredients, making it more of a meal in itself than just a starter. The variety of dim sum dishes I tried were mostly hits. The har gow was a bit delicate and fell apart easily, but the char siu bao was bursting with flavor, the shu mai was huge and extremely tasty, and the soup dumplings were really good too.Despite driving by many times, I had never made it inside until now, and I'm glad I finally did. The service was excellent, and you can tell this family-owned spot puts care into every dish. The only downside was the bathrooms, which were a little sketchy and really humid. But if you're looking for a place that delivers on taste and quality, this one's worth a visit.

My husband and I love coming here! We come almost once a week. I am from NY and used to go to China town all the time for Chinese food and this is the best I've had in Arizona by far! I love that the restaurants atmosphere is that of NY. Nothing fancy - but in a good way! The owners and the family are amazing too!We always get the pork dumplings,Combination fried rice and combination lo mein and share. It's always more than enough food, we always take home leftovers. There is always a great amount of meat in each dish, especially with the shrimp! We will for sure be back!

This place is worth trying but I wouldn't hurry back. The XLB or soup dumplings were good. To make them excellent, I would've preferred thinner wrapper and julienned ginger to be served with the black vinegar dipping sauce. These I might go back for. The other dim sum items I tried were solid. The shu mai, bean curd roll and har gow were better at Mekong Palace. The bean curd roll was served with partially congealed sauce, like it had been steamed then allowed to cool off too much. The chicken feet were better here. I also got their specialty dried fish & chicken fried rice and their spicy eggplant with shrimp dishes. Those were solid also. At $18 though, they were just a few dollars more than I would expect to pay from a place with hole-in-the-wall ambience and lackluster service.

Love this place when I can get in. Supposed to be open till 9 on Friday according to their door sign (830 on Google). Standing out front at 7:50 and it's closed. Unfortunately this is not the first time. Happens way too often. Please update your hours Dim Sum Cafe. I won't be driving back soon. Side note, there's literally a horse and buggy across the street. Going to Investigate now!

I LOVE this place! The customer service is always fantastic. The food is fresh and delicious. During the weekends, this place can get packed and during the weekdays it's pretty empty. If you're into Asian cuisine, I highly recommend this gem!

Finally got to try Dim Sum Cafe in Mesa. The place is so cozy, and there are plenty of parking spots. Oh and they have extensive selections of food haha. It could be overwhelming but probably you could easily find whatever you're craving for.My friend and I, we got to try beef chow fun, kung pao chicken, and xiao long bao.First of all, their portion is huge. Yay! And I really liked beef chow fun, noodle was soft, there were so many beef pieces, and the sauce was good. Kung pao chicken was good as well. Xiao long bao wasn't really tasted like I expected, it was ok! But I'll definitely come back here for their other dishes!

We were craving dim sum after rock climbing yesterday outdoors. This cafe was a welcome reprieve after being rained out and hailed on during the end of our climb. It was the comfort food we were searching for. They had all my basic favs like har gow (shrimp dumplings), shumai (pork and shrimp dumplings), and pork buns (which I didn't regretfully order because I already ordered so much!) The sticky rice and soup dumplings were so good! My husband was excited to order his favorite, the spicy fried shrimp with was mixed with jalapeños off the non-dim sum menu. You must order the scallion pancakes too, because they are cooked perfectly and such a treat! The staff is so nice here and the restaurant is super chill. I wish we lived closer because I know I would eat or order from here weekly if we did.

Good food, very authentic dishes. The egg white dry scallop fried rice is on point. The honey garlic chicken was great. The dim sum and XLB was mediocre. The pan fried noodles are great. Prices are pretty high but quality is good.
