Zukins Rib Shack

The barbecue sauce is light and tangy not thick and sweet so the meat is highlighted not drowned. The backyard barbecue feel is carried over in the decor with simple designs. Counter service plus is the theme and the friendly and welcoming. The pizza is spot on with old world style pepperoni.

We LOVE this place! Ribs are phenomenal and the chicken is right there with the ribs. The only thing I would change is it being a dine in establishment instead of carry out.

Four stars because Zukin's is better than Okay ... and it is reasonably convenient.We three shared a pulled brisket sandwich, three bones and the garlic ribeye flat bread pizza. All are worthy of re-ordering on a future visit.The brisket sandwich was large and the portion ... generous. My two dining companions thought it was great ... I expect a bit more Smokey goodness. The bun is fine and stands up to a serious saucing.The ribs are meaty, a teenie bit fatty and arrived with more sauce than I like; but I am a dry rub BBQ guy. The garlic ribeye flatbread pizza, is obviously not a classic pizza ... and it is wonderful. I wish I had known about it years ago. Will I return? Yes.

Wonderful experience and history lesson by Louie. Many year's ago Zukin's had a dozen locations. Now just Lincoln Park 54 year's and Livoina open for 6 year's with a full bar and dining room. PuPu Platter and Rib Kabobs baby that's what they do and Mucho more. A fun filled lunch she had Rib Kebob, Fries n Ribeye Garlic White Sauce Flatbread Pizza. Me the Famous PuPu Platter, Polynesian Hors D'oeuvres with chicken wingdings, ribs, jumbo shrimp, egg rolls, onion rings, coleslaw & roll. This was made Famous by the Veterans returning from the South Pacific after WW11 bet you didn't know. A marvelous take on the Nashville Chicken Sandwich and a really special treat Pulled Smoked Brisket OMG what a fantastic find. Large dining room and outside Patio, a full bar with great selection of Craft Beer on tap, liquor and wine too. Looking forward to a trip back really soon.You gotta get the PU PU Platter which is jumbo shrimp,ribs, spring rolls,onion rings,and a roll. I agree the ribs are great and the rib kabobs are the best. Been eating them for 50 years. The Friday fish fry is one of the best around Detroit, for a super cheap price. The Place is ok! The Ribs taste like they were Boiled, not enough Sauce! They were fatty, but somewhat tender! I prefer Ribs that are smoked on grill from beginning to end! After reading the reviews I decided to try this place out! Disappointing!

Everything here is delicious! Prices are great, the food is fantastic, they have a full bar, and the service is outstanding. The pu pu platter is delicious and so much food. I'll be back when in the area.

Went there tonight after seeing positive reviews on Facebook. We walked in and stood there for 5 minutes without anyone acknowledging us. They weren't busy. Two employees walked right past us without saying anything, like we were invisible. This is the first time there and probably the last. We walked out and went to another restaurant.

I had dinner last night for the firt time at Zukins Rib Shack, on 5 Mile and Farmington. OMG it was beyond belief delicious, and very reasonable. You won't be disappointed!
