Zingerman's Roadhouse

Wow, what a great spot! My partner and I couldn't decide where to eat, and we stumbled upon Zingerman's Roadhouse. It's a fantastic place for American comfort food. I ordered a patty melt, and my partner had the swordfish. As a disclaimer, we have both spent a lot of time on both coasts and are particular about seafood. That said, the swordfish was EXCELLENT!What stood out most during our visit was the waitstaff. Hands down, it was the best service we have received in Ann Arbor. It's an easy-going restaurant that won't disappoint!

Zingerman's had come HIGHLY recommended to me by multiple people, but all of my expectations were exceeded. Kat was pleasant to talk to, makes a great cocktail and was truly knowledgeable about the area. On top of that, she was willing to hunt in the storage area for the correct size souvenirs that I hoped to pick up! Thank you, Kat (and the entire Zingermans team) for a truly wonderful dining experience.

I just want to say, that the service at Zingerman's roadhouse is amazing! I came here again recently to celebrate my anniversary, and the staff were so kind and thoughtful. Can't wait to celebrate many more occasions here!

The food was amazing the service was great. Can't believe how fast our food came out . Great place to eat!

Zingermans reputation for excellent food, service, and attention to detail is certainly born out in this fun restaurant with something for everyone on its menu.

This was our first time here and love it. Tracy did a great job of suggesting food and the fresh lemonade. I ordered the chicken and Mac. I also had a side of greens. They were delicious. The smoky flavor was amazing. The extensive menu was amazing. We will definitely be back soon.

Zingermans is a bustling locale offering hearty American comfort fare, local draft beers & a gourmet food shop!Stopped in recently while visiting my daughter to try the buttermilk fried chicken and man, it was fantastic!! The chicken was crispy and seasoned well and the spicy coleslaw that accompanied it was delicious! We also ordered the Mac and cheese, Mashed Potatoes with Gravy and a cheese and picked grapes starter. The Mash was delicious and with some extra gravy would have been devoured. The Mac was disappointing and our least favorite. Overall it was a very positive experience. The restaurant is large, offers indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and very attentive and I loved the daily special options. I would love to go back to try the BBQ on my next visit

Hopping spot on a Sunday during brunch! Glad we had a reservation as there was a wait time for people walking in. Big menu with lots of options to fit many different tastes. We split a few things for two, and still had a bit leftover to take home. - Shrimp and Grits. Tasty shrimp, very flavorful gravy, and I really enjoyed the grits as well. Only comment is that overall it is pretty salty. We were asked if we wanted hot sauce, and got two options - a Frank's mixed with butter concoction (yum) and Tabasco. - Summer Squash Panzanella Salad (small size). Not a lot of options for greens on the menu, so this was nice to have to pair with the heavier shrimp and grits. Was good but not super special. - Roadhouse Donut (1). This was great! The donut itself is cakey and not too sweet, which I like, and topped with a mound of brown sugar. Let's you adjust to the sweetness you prefer. Only thing was it didn't taste very fresh. Overall, we enjoyed our meal! A little on the pricier side for a more classic menu. A selection of Zingerman's merch, books, and snacks are available for purchase by the front.

Everything was perfection today from the drink to the dessert! Our waitperson was personable and considerate. She made she our orders were as we wanted them. Today was an outside patio day. It was peaceful, clean, and the ceiling fan kept the temperature comfortable and the flies at bay!! I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to the Roadhouse!

Came her with a friend for lunch after some shopping and it was amazing. I haven't been in years but the food was delicious and staff was super friendly. It's a nice cozy place for some comfort food. My friend and I split the chicken Mac and cheese (they will split it all out for you which is nice) which was soo amazing and the fried chicken sandwich. We got regular and sweet potato fries which came with some spicy ranch sauce, SO GOOD! Will totally be back. It gets very busy and you can see why.
