Zef's Lighthouse Tavern

I drive 15 miles just for the greek salad, the pink creamy dressing is great. casual atmosphere and they have great specials to bring you in on weeks days. wifey had the sliders and with bacon and chedder you need nothing else. The sweet Patato fries came out real hot. Cassandra the server was great!

We were out driving around just wanting to get away for a bit and we happened across Zef's. We decided to check it out. It looks like this may be an old gas station or garage repurposed but I never confirmed that. This was the most perfect weekend so we were happy the rolling glass doors were open allowing the sunshine and fresh air in. There is a patio area on the front that dogs are allowed in. The decor is interesting and has a lot of classic pics of Detroit from "back in the day." We enjoyed reading the captions about the Boblo boat. Nothing like a blast from the past. The bar was full of friendly regulars. We chatted with them and had great service. The food was delicious. It was typical bar food but still super good. They also have a surprisingly good variety of beer on tap for a dive bar. Check it out!

Pretty good food. The waitress however had the worst attitude. Must be having a bad day. Hope it gets better for you dear.

Great dive bar ! Sat near the open garage door.great summer breeze. Very good, hard working waitress. Lots of regulars at the bar. Side of onion rings, classic hamburger and a unique brat sandwich- had bacon, apple and jalapeño- all shared. Everything tasted fine. Draft beer - ice cold and very oddly priced $1.84 before tax. Love to try everywhere, but can't say I wouldn't be back !

Hit this place , the bar tender is awesome . Her name is Krista I love it's off the beaten path. The people are amazing the hot dogs are yummy.

Great food. The burgers are fantastic. Home made buns, great French fries. The also have good service.

Love the small hometown bar atmosphere, best burger around , the pretzel bites! Service is good, to be expected when the wait staff knows everyone.

GREAT cheeseburger special! My salad was very fresh! Best of all, the bar tender was also the only waitress at the time and yet was very attentive to us: kept coming with refills without being asked, very nice, and talkative too! Happy to have found a great place for a quick lunch!

I almost hate to post my review as I have nothing but great things to say about this place. This might cause my favorite eating place to become super crowded!We eat here often. The food is delicious and reasonably priced in todays market. Everything we've tried is just great. There are daily specials on food and drinks. The hamburgers and fries are good. We've tried the pulled pork and Philly steak sandwiches. The staff is very friendly and attentive. My only complaints is sometimes the jukebox music is too loud to be able to talk at your table and when the garage doors are open the smokers sit outside and smoke at tables where it clearly says not to do. This causes their smoke to come in the restaurant. Maybe they can't read. They do have live bands on the weekends too. If you haven't tried this place you certainly should. You won't be disappointed.

Used to be good prices were Fair the hamburgers were much better the new owner changed the menu the place needs to get cleaned up still very dirty inside especially the ceiling
