For a housewarming party, my friend asked guests to bring their favorite pizza from the area in lieu of a gift. The intent was to throw a pizza party and discover all the local places around town. I live about 45min away but Yelped "pizza" in Sylvania. After scrolling through a few typical places I came across Za Za's and knew instantly that they were my pick. The day of I called my order in of 3 different pizzas to be picked up for carryout at a specified time and they were very helpful to do this. When I got there the pizzas were just coming out of the oven and I had excellent friendly checkout at the counter. The restaurant was clean inside. It was set nicely with many tables and chairs, like a fast casual joint and you could see the brick oven right there that they were pulling the pizzas out of. When I got to the party and set my pizza boxes out with all the others anyone that walked by exclaimed "who brought Za Za's?!?" Which I later understood that was a very good thing. The night goes on, everyone tried all of the pizzas at the party and is asked to write down their vote at the end, and guess what? I, I mean Za Za's won!So great pizza, great, service, and a great night that all came from Za Za's. I ordered the Mediterranean, the Parmegiana, and the Ricotta Spinachi. They were all perfect.

I was in town from Columbus last night and googled wood-fire pizza in Toledo. We had it DoorDashed in so it wasn't completely fresh. I have to say I was absolutely impressed! The crisp is excellent,the taste rivals some of the best I've had. It's very light so I ate the entire thing and at $11.49 you can't beat it! Will be back to Toledo just for the pie!

We have been by this establishment many times, and this was our first visit. The young man at the counter was very helpful in providing recommendations based on our likes / dislikes.The food was quite good and priced fairly.Smaller dining area, but it was adequate as it seems the bulk of their business was takeout orders. Plenty of foot traffic in and out while we were dining.I would recommend this location when you are in the area.

We miss this place! When we lived near Toledo Ohio we came here often. We loved their food n personalities. We also loved a restaurant over there that went out of business called YaHallas or something like that. The Golden City Chinese Restaurant in Point Place Michigan was amazing too. And Richter Chalet was amazing up near Southgate Michigan or Lincoln Park Michigan or r somewhere around there n we looked it up n it went out of business. It was the best German food around in the whole USA. We are sad over this but glad Zazas is still around! If we ever visit we will go back here for an amazing dinner n desert! The service is great. The ambiance is very casual n kind of a cold like atmosphere but that was fine. Not sure what it is like now. It's been a few years. We Miss You! :)

We visited Zaza on a Friday night. I was a little concerned when we walked in at 7pm and the dining room was empty, usually not a great sign, but I really wanted to give it a try. I'm glad we did. We did notice that they do a fairly brisk takeout business.We ordered the Greca pizza and the Gyro plate, I'll start with the pizza. The pizza was a nice size and would easily make a meal for two if paired with a salad. I wish I had taken a pic of the pizza, it looked as good as it tasted.The flavor was fantastic and the crust was the perfect level of thin and charred you expect in a good wood fired pizza. The toppings were plentiful and delish, especially the gyro meat...Yum!Now on to the gyro plate, it wasn't quite as impressive. The gyro by it's self was great, their meat in very flavorful. The platter part left a lot to be desired. It comes with rice, hummus and pita, and veg. The hummus was very good but there was only a very little bit. The veg was 2 slices of cucumber and 2 slices of carrot but the carrot was dried out. The rice was the biggest disappointment. It tasted (and looked) like the bagged yellow rice you buy at the store, definitely not the rice I expect on a gyro plate. Next time, if I decide I want the gyro I will order just the sandwich and not the platter.We will definitely give them another shot.

Worst pizza ever!Thin crust more like paper thin with no sauce, barely any cheese or toppings and tasted even worse than paper!Definitely will never order again or recommend to anyone.
