A breath of fresh air in downtown Ypsilanti! Very modern space with nice seating and cool ambiance. The drinks rotate each season so we happen to be there right after the spring menu launched. I appreciated that they make their drinks with local spirits from Ann Arbor distillery. The drinks weren't the strongest but they had great flavor and were very refreshing and good! I got the lollipop one and then I can't remember the other I got. Service was friendly and attentive. Will definitely be back!

When YCC first opened, I honestly didn't think they would last. The craft cocktails are pricey and there was a lot of staff turnover. After a couple of years getting settled, they now have wonderful seasonal cocktails and a solid crew. It's a beautiful space, just wish they had small plates or snacks!

You like a nice cocktail poured in a beautiful room in the hearts of Downtown Ypsi this is one place to reconsider. Their service has improved since opening, previously had an issue with dirty glass wear and no offer to remake a drink. Last visit here was wonderful after attending a Christmas event at the Ypsi train Depot. The strawberry Basil Lime Gin Cocktail I could have easily drank 3 or 4. Even cooler, they placed a real strawberry on the rim of the glass. I liked this place. Split between here or the Wax bar in Depot Town for a great cocktail.

A nice little gin joint. The layout and decor are pleasant and the staff is knowledgeable. There is a good selection of drinks at a few price points. Seems like a great place to get a drink before dinner or a nightcap afterward. I would like to see some snacks on the menu at some point. I updated my review to 5 stars, because the team that's been working for the past few years is exceptional. Also, the club has started running events like bingo, auctions, and dating meet ups.

On a recent night out, my husband and I could only get a very late time for our table at the restaurant. With about an hour and a half before we ate, we wandered over to the Ypsi Cocktail Club, a place we had long wanted to check out. Ypsi's downtown corridor has been reinvigorated recently with a number of restaurants and shops, and the Ypsi Cocktail Club is a fantastic addition. In an elegantly-renovated space with high ceilings featuring tin tiles, exposed brick walls, and a marble bar, cocktails are shaken and stirred with Michigan-distilled spirits. The menu appears to rotate seasonally, as the offerings that evening were different (more cold-weather themed) than those on the menu photos currently on Yelp. After perusing the menu, I decided to try a Frosty Gimlet. I love a refreshing basil gimlet, and the peppermint-infused version sounded like a delicious twist. While the bartender mixed up our drinks, we snacked in some complimentary cocktail nuts. Elegantly presented and just as tasty, the Frosty Gimlet hit the spot for me that evening. We chatted and sipped for an hour and a half before heading out for our meal, but not without promising to be back soon. The Ypsi Cocktail Club is a well-executed addition to the downtown corridor, and will easily become one of your new favorite places, just like it has for me!

I visited Ypsi Cocktail Club (YCC) on their second day open at 5pm. The bar was already starting to fill with guests at that time and by the time we left (about 6:30), the bar was full. The space itself is compact and beautifully appointed with an upscale feel. Service was pretty efficient despite their newness. The bar severely limits itself by only offering locally made liquor and mixers. That is, there is NO wine, beer, non-Michigan made products, or food sold here. This can be really disappointing and being limited by these ingredients, their takes on drinks - such as the Mi-groni - in most cases, really are nothing like the original. So, if you actually want a negroni or even just a beer, go somewhere else. While creating such a niche for themselves, I suspect that this establishment may not last very long without expanding their offerings. Our group left after just a couple drinks for another bar and are not interested in returning, since we felt like we already experienced everything that YCC has to offer.

I was just strolling around looking at shops and lo and behold there was this place. I decided to go in and check it out. There was mainly a bar with. a few tables to sit at. This place serves michigan based spirits. Very cool. I ordered the Ypsi flight which came with gin, vodka, whiskey and absenthe. I really did not know it was coming straight up in shot glasses but I went with it. The staff was very knowledgeable of the drinks. They were so flavorful and different I purchased a bottle. Great place for a good cocktail. I will be back.

Came to YCC on opening night. It was VERY busy. We waited a while to get our drinks. It took the server/bartenders 3 tries to get our drink order. They ended up comping our drinks for the inconvenience. The ambience/atmosphere was really nice. They just need to work on service. Also agree with another review that in order to survive - they will need to expand their offerings a little bit. Will be back to give them another shot.
