Here's a real review for anybody who wants one.I'm 35, and my family and I growing up as been going to Wok Inn since I was 10 years old. I have seen this restaurant go through it all. I have never had a bad experience with them aside from a minor mistake on an order that happened once this passed year, BUT the management on duty was very fast and passionate about correct the mistake. That top of old school way of doing something isn't something you often see anymore. I don't mean just some manager working hard to fix a problem and send you on your way, but I mean in the context, demeanor, character and over all bearing and discipline to see something done right.Over the years I have come to adore the owners but I've never hesitated to speak my mind (respectfully though) on something I perceived to be not in tradition with their standards, which again is rare. ALL of their food, is just so incredibly delicious. I love the way it's prepared, I love that it's NEVER overcooked, I love that no matter what there is always a consistently high quality to everything that they do, whether you are eating in or ordering out.Eating in, is such a treat as well, they walk a very fine line of balance between not pestering you while you are eating and conversing with your company while always making sure you are attended to properly. They really set a very nice fine dining tone when you eat in.All-in-all, best Chinese food Restaurant I've ever had, and that's coming from somebody who goes out of his way to eat at Chinese Restaurants all over the country when I travel.

I hate leaving poor reviews, but being honest is what I need to do.I'm visiting from out of state, so getting to eat things, I can't back home is what I look forward to... Almond Bonless Chicken is one of those things. So if I had just an average version I would probably think it was very good. Well this version from Wok Inn was probably the worst I've ever had...The oil they used to fry the chicken, needs to be changed. It has that burnt oil taste. Not good...and will take awhile to get over. Crab Ragoons are not very good as well. I'm sorry I chose this place. I hope they get their act together.

I have ordered from this place several times, and it's not close to my house. Tonight I ordered several items, total was $58. I picked up the order drove home took me about 45 minutes to get home. Checked the order and we were missing our shrimp fried rice. I called the restaurant they put me on hold and came back and said they checked the camera and that the cook 100% put the shrimp fried rice in the bag. I told them 100% it was not in the bag. And she kept saying 100% he put it in the bag over and over. I guess I am a liar, I just hung up out of frustration. I did not get a credit for the food I did not receive. I will never order from this place again. I would give no stars if I could have.

If time is of the essence, this is not the eatery for you. If you have hours of spare time to wait for mediocre chicken, this may be the spot for you. Jokes aside, however, there are plenty of similar restaurants in the area that are far more worth it. I cannot, for the life of me, ever recommend eating here. 0/5 (but we are required to give a single star.)

Honestly, simply the best Chinese food in Macomb County. Recently we have been trying other places, in fact it has been close to two years since we last had carry out from there (with covid there is no eat it currently). After a meal of General Tao's and Boneless Almond Chicken and Mongolian Beef (we couldn't decide so we split all three), I looked at my wife and said "It really is the best isn't it?" She readily agreed. It looks almost abandoned from the road and does not look like a restaurant but it is and it is simply the best Chinese in Macomb County-which the sign says it is per the Macomb Daily from sometime in the 1990's.

We ordered carry out tonight. I ordered sweet and sour chicken, but it came without any sauce. It's just breaded chicken. What a bummer!!! It's what makes the dish. The rice wasn't great. The egg roll was pretty good at least.

WOK INN USED to have great food, then they sold the restaurant to their cook.I hope that the restaurant can read English, they definitely cannot speak it. At least the women answering the phones. As she is very very rude and hangs up on you. As I tried explaining how bad the chicken is getting.I never leave reviews but have to say this is really hit or miss. The chicken is very tough and over cooked most of the time, or (seems to be reheated a lot).I WENT TO WOK INN FOR 25 YEARS. SAD TO SAY THEY SHOULD CHANGE THE NAME BECAUSE THE FOOD IS SO SUBPAR TO THE ORIGINAL WOK INN.

The food is always spot on here. I have ordered from here for years. Their General Tso is the best around. I prefer getting the sauce on the side. It reheats way better that way! Give it a try. You won't be disappointed. They can make it in different spice levels too if you ask.

I went to Wok Inn on Thursday, Sept 16 to place a carry out order of four eggrolls and A pint of shrimp chop Suey. You cannot go into the restaurant, they catch you at the door and you have to place the order outside. The person taking the order was very cold And very upset for some reason. When she totaled the bill, the four eggrolls and pint i've chop Suey cost $21 !I know restaurants are hurting but I will never be going there ever again. See the attached pictures. all of three small pieces of shrimp and mostly rice which is cheap. I live only eight minutes from the restaurant and when I got home the eggrolls were actually cold so they must've been made earlier and sitting on a table somewhere.The person taking the order said that it has not changed ownership but I never saw her before and she said she owned the place. She then brought the order and put it on the table and said there you go and walked away not even a thank you. I have been going to this restaurant for at least 30 years and today was my last time.please see the pictures, you'll see what I mean. if I could give zero stars I would. Something has changed,but they lost me as a customer forever. As you can see from the pictures it is not worth $21 plus they wanted a tip.
