Wishbone Broasted Chicken

Broasted chicken is awesome! Side of mashed potatoes n gravy & Mac& cheese pretty good too. Will definitely be back!

I would recommend spending your money elsewhere. Food: -Baked beans had no flavor. Honestly tasted like bush baked beans. -broasted potatoes were unfortunately the best thing and even that was not good. The outside of the skin was crispy and I was so excited to eat these at first glance. They were large cuts of potatoes, I expect potato wedges to be smaller because the insides were undercooked. -chicken looked so promising!! But the inside was so greasy and had no flavor. The skin was crisp but the inside of the chicken held ALL the grease. I don't know how you fix that, but I've been to other chicken places and that has not happened. -rolls were dry. I am not a professional baker, but it felt like they used a bread recipe instead of a roll recipe. Dinner rolls need some fat/milk incorporated so they don't dry out in the oven. Service: the cashier was very nice. She kept checking on my order to see if it was ready. We waited an extra 10 mins from when the ETA was.

Not really sure what happened to this place but it has went wayyyyy downhill!! I used to call and order 100 to 200 pieces of chicken when i had to go to a funeral or what not, i called the other day to order 100 pieces and they told me that they couldn't do it!!! I'll take my buisness elsewhere!!

Food tasted good but I feel we we're gypped with the chicken we received. I took pictures with the pieces next to a ruler so you could see how small the wings were -- it's ridiculous they are selling these as a piece of chicken, at over $1 each!We received a drumstick without coating, skin or meat on the bone -' almost as of someone ate the top off and threw it in the box. A customer should NEVER receive a piece like this!!Not sure we'll purchase from here again unless they can rectify this situation...

I bought a medium barrel broasted potato's on Friday February 28th in afternoon it was awful the chicken was dry the grease was old no flavor I couldn't eat broasted potatoes either because grease was bad they must not change the filter! It was a waste of 40 dollars don't know what happened to this place it used to be good there were 2 young kids working that day one cooking had ear pods in his ears the time they say it will be done is always a 45 minutes later. It wasn't busy either.

So, I've planned my week around Wishbones hours and planned on ordering chicken and sides for my Christmas dinner. I called them on Thursday and the girl who answered the phone said they close at 8:00 pm, Christmas Eve. So, I called them just now to place an order and that girl told me they closed at 5:00p. WTF! This is not acceptable at all! If you have employees that don't know what time you open and close, I would be hiring people who do know! This has f.... my Christmas dinner up for tomorrow and getting an apology is not acceptable!

This was my first time into Wishbone Broasted Chicken Restaurant in Allen Park, Mi. I can see what all the hubbub is about in this cozy, famous little restaurant in Allen Park. If you are looking for that down-home cooking that just puts a smile on your face. This is the place to come. I walked up to the counter to place an order, and as it happened, the owner Nicole was working. She greeted me with a smile as large as can be and asked me what she could get for me. She gave me choices and let me work through what my taste buds were desiring. After ordering and waiting just a few minutes for my food. I observed the staff and owner preparing food for the other customers with so much care it reminded me when my mother used to say " if you make it with love, it tastes so much better". I even overheard Nicole complementing her staff telling them how awesome the food looked. It was so refreshing to go into a restaurant where the staff cares so much about the quality and presentation of the food and to see how they show they care about their customers as well. I love service with a smile! Btw- the Chicken was absolutely amazing. Portion size was excellent and value for $ was right on! I will be returning to Wishbones and telling all my friends. It says on the wall of this restaurant "established in 1957". Well this is not just an ole fashion place that has lost its cachet. It's seems the owners have re-established Wishbones as the trusted "go to" restaurant as they give attention to the personal touches that seem to be lost these days in our dining out experiences. Way to go Nicole and staff!!

We had a good experience there back in December every thing was very good. We ordered a fish dinner for 19.99 nothing came with it they gave us 2 pieces of fish we're not going back there

Simply the best chicken I've ever had! I can't wait to have it again. Sides were amazing and all of the food is so fresh. Everyone was so friendly. Will definitely be back as often as I can! Dan finn
