General Tso's Chicken

Sesame Chicken from the Family Dinner combo. This is only 1/2 meals you choose with that combo. Massive portion and delicious!
I'm guessing this is the general tso chicken (because the other had sesame seeds on it - so, i'm guessing that's the sesame?)
Decorated wall by the entrance.
Shrimp and vegetables lunch special
I'm guessing this is the sesame chicken because it has sesame seeds on it? It tasted an awful lot like the general tso and vice versa though
Sesame Chicken and Fried Rice!
Sweet and sour chicken and almond chicken combo. It was huge!

First time visit. Placed order and picked up food. Very large portions, the flavor and taste was perfect for me. Pricing was on par for what I pay anywhere else. I really enjoyed my food. The service was fast and quick. The interior was ok, I guess they've closed the inside dinning. So nothing special about the inside. Check it out if you want some good Chinese food. Worth the time ...

Wing's Gardens has become my go-to for Chinese takeout. The food at Wing's Garden is a highlight. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, catering to different tastes and preferences. The taste is consistently delicious, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The presentation of the dishes is appealing, adding to the overall dining experience. Portion sizes are generous, providing good value for money. The service at Wing's Garden is commendable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are quick to accommodate special requests and ensure that diners have a pleasant experience. However, during peak hours, the service can be a bit slow, but the staff's courteous demeanor makes up for it. Overall, dining at Wing's Garden is a delightful experience. The combination of a welcoming atmosphere, excellent service, and high-quality food makes it a great choice for dining out. The restaurant's strengths lie in its flavorful dishes and friendly staff. However, the occasional slow service during busy times is a minor drawback.

Great spot! I have been going to this spot since it was Fung Lim. Orders are always correct and food is fresh. The ambiance is not great but that's ok. I don't dine in. This will always be one of my favorite Chinese food spots.

Wing's Gardens appears to be takeout only nowadays. But, the food is worth the trip. Their General Tso's chicken is the best in this area. However, if you really want it hot, you have to stress that you don't have a typical Oakland County palette... you know what I'm saying.

Being out of the Chinese food loop in Detroit for the last 8 years The Lady suggested this place on a COLD December evening. OMGoodness this place hits the spot. I had the almond chicken/sweet & sour chicken dinner with shrimp fried rice. Yup this is the go to for Chinese food while home in Detroit going forward. Added bonus it's 10 mins from the house.

Growing up in Detroit, my family dined out a lot. My mother loves Chinese food, so over the years I have visited several Chinese restaurants in the city and suburban neighborhoods in SE Michigan.Wing's is typical of the old school restaurants I'm accustomed to. Unfortunately, many of the newer neighborhood restaurants lack authentic flavor and quality of food. Wing's has managed to stay true to good customer service, a comfortable dining room and tasty Chinese takeout. The menu is huge and offers all of the typical Chinese-American fair from crab Rangoon, egg drop soup, to popular combination plates served with your choice of main entree, choice of fried rice and an egg/spring roll. One of my favorites, which I ordered again yesterday is the lemon chicken. The strips of chicken breast are expertly fried and slathered in a sweet and sour sauce topped with fresh lemon. The combination is served with fried rice, I opted for pork fried rice which is so flavorful, I hardly use soy sauce. The combination meals are served with a roll. As a bread lover, I have always loved the distinct taste of rolls from Chinese-American restaurants. There's plenty of parking in the lot and on the street. It's in a nice quiet neighborhood on a more sleepy part of Nine Mile Road. It's good for lunch alone, with a friend; or date and families.
