Willsons Pub 'n Grill

A staple at our house.Wilson's is a good place to go for cheap and decent food. The waitstaff is really nice and the restaurant is clean. I like getting the bosco sticks and potatoes skins. Their steak bites are pretty good as well. Come in here to watch a game on the many screens they have, have a drink and relax. You won't break the bank here either as their prices are very reasonable.

It's bar food. Plain and simple. On the plus side, we had a server who was friendly and attentive, even though she had a lot of tables. The food itself, not my kinda thing. I'm not one to pick that type of food. My relatives picked the location. I ordered chicken chili and a quesadilla. Both were edible but not anything I was excited about. My husband got whitefish but it was greasy and not good. I wouldn't come back on my own but my relatives really like it. So there's a chance I'll be back.

The food was not good , the menu description did not fit the order . It was a dripping wet taco , with three pieces of shrimp & a few pieces of wilted cabbage & very few fries on the plate . We told our waitress ,Her only response was I will let the manager know . It's sad we had to stop at Kroger for sushi before the show because we left the restaurant hungry .We won't be back . We used to go to Wilson's all the time . It's really gone down hill . That was definitely our last time at this restaurant. Not worth it !

I give a two star because the staff was very good. The food....I have lived in the neighborhood for years and have been going to Wilsons for years. Generally the food was good. I ordered the NY Strip which in the past has been pretty good. Tonight it was awful, chewy full of tendons and fat, definitely a low quality and tough to cut. The mushrooms on the steak were canned and sautéed, just awful. I knew it was bad when the person walked by who served me this never asked how my food was. I used to stop in and get a decent steak, after two bad meals, I will just not go back. Shame I was a fan of this place.

My sister told me about this place. I guess there's new owners or new menu. So my wife and I decided to give it a shot. great comfort food! It's a nice place to just hang out and grab some good food.I got the twin tenderloins. Mashed potatoes were definitely made from scratch and the gravy too. It comes out saucy, so if you're a saucy person tell them to go light on it. My wife got the seafood and chicken combo. Chicken was moist she said and the salmon was really good with the balsamic glaze. We split a small pizza for appetizer. It was pretty good also. All in all I was pretty impressed. And not too pricey.

Last night my wife and I visited Wilson's Pub n' Grill for the first time. I can honestly say, even though it's kind of hidden, it is worth it! Patty was a wonderful server, and George the owner even came to our table to introduce himself.Decent craft beer listing, and the beer was ice cold (in a good way). I got sliders and fries which were delicious. My wife got a tuna melt with sweet potato fries. I highly recommend this spot, and don't forget to order the Crock-o-dip appetizer!

Order of 2 salads, Mac n cheese & French dip took about an hour. Upon arrival, I walked in to find the bartender behind the bar finishing up another to-go customer, & then walked away to help the outside tables, proceeding to come inside, unload the dishwasher, load it back up, fill a few drinks, go back outside, come inside, grab some beers, & go back outside. There was another gentleman walking around, sat a man, checked on a few things... all in all I stood at the bar unacknowledged for about 10 minutes. After the gentleman helped me, the bartender/waitress came back & asked if I had been helped. Our food, was gross. The Mac n cheese was penne pasta with a gross (& too much) cheese. The French dip's au jus was nothing like an au jus, more sweet than salty/beefy, with too much bun & barely any roast beef. The 2 salads I ordered, Michigan & Caesar, were sub-par with way too much lettuce & about a half chicken breast. Disappointed.

The pepperoni pizza is so good and I am not really a pizza guy. I got the pizza 2 times in 1 week!

Cheri was an amazing bartender, always stayed ontop of things, talked to you and was really charismatic. If you see this always ask for her! she made the experience great!!

I used to love this place. Recently ate here and to say epically disappointed would be kind. Waitress was really nice however it was her and 1 other waitress. Instead of the restaurant limiting seating they made these poor girls run around. Which in turn made everything take so long. Food came out room temperature and honesty gross. Sad to say I won't be returning just based on how selfish they seem. More concerned with filling the tables then caring about their staff.
