Hands down the best corned beef brisket in the Detroit area. You can buy various cuts (supreme trim flatcut,etc) You can also find a large tube of National Coney Island chili that I haven't been able to find anywhere else. Whenever I'm driving back home from downtown Detroit, I like to stop by and pick up the best corned beef in the Midwest.

The pastrami sandwich was good but the pastrami itself was a bit dry. The beans and ham soup were surprisingly good. I'm not a bean eater.

Food was very good, just a note: I had a chilly dog which was very good but I would've have preferred my boiled the old fashion way, never the less out food was very good, my wife had cabbage soup and a rubber sandwich which she said was also very good. Service was superb and friendly, the ambiance was pure Eastern Market! What more could a person ask for?

The food is fantastic.... Best corn beef I have had in Detroit, MI. The price is a little high, but worth it.

Corned beef sandwich is the best I've had. Got in before the wait for lunch. Staff was nice for being very busy. Big sandwich too. You won't be sorry you went.

The best place in the Eastern Market to get corned beef! They close kinda early, so get there during the day. The inside is pretty old school and simple. They have a meat counter and fresh produce. Always quick with service and it's usually with a smile!

Well I was yesterdays age old when my universe opened up another portal WIGLEY'S. I'm a life long Detroiter and have been going to eastern market my entire life and have driven past this place which in my mind was a dump , probably 300 times this summer alone but yesterday ai went inside and was god smacked ..... there is a grill / diner in the front and a meat market in the back the place is cavernous OMG. They have a full menu , American fare .being it's a corned beef joint I ordered two iterations of their sandwiches and neither disappointed. However as a disclaimer I'm a lifelong Lou's Deli fan but would order Wigley,s again as a matter of fact I'm going for breakfast this morning.

This is an appropriately no-fuss diner-style place, since the meat is the star. A Wigley's corned beef on onion roll with slaw and a schmear of mustard -- chef's kiss.
