This is a great neighborhood restaurant. Their food is great! Awesome salad bar! Their cod is spectacular regardless how you get it prepared! The staff is always attentive and friendly! I stop here when ever I am in the area. They are also very consistent which makes this place a hit for me.

Nothing less than 5 stars. This place is great, awesome, outstanding, fantastic, delicious, call it whatever you want. It's great. Only my second time here and I'm make it a point to visit here whenever I'm in the area. They have two salad bars that is also very very very very good. One is traditional salad bar with all the toppings you want and the other is like a pasta salad bar with potato salad, pasta salad, noodles, pea salad (this pea salad is delicious), macaroni salad, and coleslaw. This place has hands down the best seafood in the Metro Detroit area. They have so many options I don't have time to go over it all but since I'm on a roll here I can promise you won't be disappointed. The atmosphere is chill too which is what I like. Food was great! I ordered the Great Lakes Catch pan fried and it was perfect. The appetizer of gater bites were also great. Our food arrived in a timely manner. It was pretty packed on a Friday night, but we didn't have to wait for a table

We love Whiteys. They really have the best fish and chips around. We drive an hour to come here. It's always a special treat. The garlic bread is always yummy too. The salad bar is fantastic with lots of choices.

Goods and bads here. I'm told this restaurant is really popular in this area so we were definitely influenced to go by others. Apparently it's been around for ages and is a favorite in the area. We went expecting whitefish (Whiteys???) and several members of my party were disappointed there was no whitefish on the menu.That being said the menu is pretty extensive. And not just for people who want fish either, there are a lot of other options. I went with the fish dinner, which comes with two (or three) pieces of fish in the cooking style of your choice (I chose blackened and buttered) with mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were soaking in butter as well so the meal felt pretty heavy but the flavors were good and the fish was flaky and seasoned well. This entree was reasonably priced for what you get. All dinners also come with a salad bar and bread. The bread is the star here, warm baguettes served with some kind of chive butter that's absolutely delightful. The salad bar is decent, nothing stellar, but we all agreed the plates were way too tiny. I feel like this is a comfortable & stable choice for people in the area and that's probably why it's popular.

My Mom said this was the best fish and chips she ever had. I got the seafood pasta and it was very flavorful and fresh. This place is a hidden gem!

I have loved this place for decades. Great food and service. And have always had a great time do to the friendly atmosphere.I'll going again soon.
