This was a fun, low-key, underground-like lounge for a vibrant Movement after party. It's really impressive how good the sound system is for the space. That there is a big column in the middle of the dance floor is a little bit of a bummer for those of us who like watching the DJ, since the DJ booth is in the corner. Also, early into the after party time, the women's toilets were all clogged, so it cut some folks' evenings short.Bartenders were pretty good at managing the crowd and generous pours.

Dark bar with a fun beat! Enjoyed some strong long islands and enjoyed ourselves for a bit. The entrance was very easy to miss and you walked down some stairs and into an underground area that was very dark and loud. I loved it.

Been to Whiskey Disco a couple times. It's a dance club in the basement of Cornerstone Barrelhouse open on the weekends. It's kind of smaller and seems to usually be pretty dead. The first time I came was in the winter for a birthday party and our group of ten was pretty much the only ones there. Came again recently this summer, and there was probably around 10-12 people other than ourselves. If you're looking for a more populated dance club with more of a Royal Oak/Ferndale vibe, try Level Two. More of a chill laid back vibe and no cover charge. Despite the lack of crowd, I still really enjoyed myself here. Dim-lit, with red lighting, long corridor with a large square communal booth when you first walk in and a bar right across. The music is different depending on which night you come. The first time I came, the music was edm, hip hop, and some top 40. This most recent time it was mostly funkadelic 70sesque disco vibes. Only a few people were dancing, mostly guys here. Order the Moscow Mule with raspberry vodka! It's so good!

Was pleasantly surprised with how nice of a place this was when I came to see a friend DJ this past weekend. It was dead when we went around 10pm, but it really started to fill up within an hour. The bartender was incredibly nice and made my friends and I delicious drinks. I loved the Moscow Mules and I will definitely be back!

So, we visited Whiskey Disco after having some Polish food and fun at the Pierogi fest...We weren't here long..only for a few cocktails...but WOW!!Had two of the BEST Moscow Mules ever! The bartender was really friendly, and was pleased when we complimented her on our drinks...They started to play some fun clubby music, that had me and my girls remembering our twenties with fondness...But, alas, we had to leave...we were tired...hahahah...!!!

There's a lot of sound in this room (but not overwhelming) and the low end sounds great since it's underground. The walls and ceiling are covered with wood slats that act as great diffusors for the sound too. Lighting is minimal and mounted in the wood slats in the ceiling....a Disco ball in the corner. There is ample seating and plenty of room to dance. Outside of drinking that's the main reason you're here. I'm a beer person and most nightclubs focus on cocktails. You can enjoy both at the Whiskey Disco. Good mixture of touring national & international DJ's with a strong talented local DJ roster too.As far as nightclubs go I think it's as cool as one you can find in this country and beyond. The cover and drink prices are moderate and the service is friendly. You don't typically find the latter in nightclubs.

Terrible DJ! We came in on Friday night after having a drink at Cornerstone upstairs. We really wanted to dance and have fun. We went downstairs to Whiskey Disco and the base was so loud that my chest was pounding. The music was awful! It was the same 3 beats with sex myself over and over again. I went to the DJ to ask if he could play something from the 90's fun to dance to or something with more words. He fanned me away like a fart! Told me go away without even lifting his head. He was more into congratulating himself than to listen to a customer. The dance floor was empty too. I watched for 5 min as 2 more girls approached him and he blew them off as well with a wave of his hand. I will never go here again, maybe if the DJ lifted his head he could see the dance floor was empty and people were leaving.

Downstairs, under a cocktail bar, Whiskey Disco is a small-to-medium sized room with a pretty serious sound system. Bookings are good, crowd is unpretentious. Pay a cover, hear dance music, often touring international DJ's. Maybe it isn't the coolest club in the world, but you can't beat the no frills/no gimmicks approach.
